Questions & Answers
These skis fit the definition of a wide body ski, right? Those with a wide body ski like the AirHead AHS could benefit from it What would be a better option for a 9 year old boy than 900 Wide Body Water Skis?
There is a wide combination pair inside of the Super Sport. Comparing the Super Sport model with AHS, that is wide at the tip but very narrow at the tail, the Super Sport has an advantage because it has width at the tip AND An extra area of surface is added at the tip and tail to make pulling out of the water easier for kids. In the Super Sport, under the bindings is where the ski heads are the narrowest. With the use of this technique, edge-to-edge transitions can be done with greater ease and control.
Do I have to buy a rope separately?
In order to use AIRHEADAHSR water ski rope, I had to order it
Have these skis been designed to help children learn how to ski using the bar connecting them?
The answer is yes. When they realize how easy it is to remove the bar, it becomes second nature. Provides them with a lot of help at first
Would you mind telling me where I can find another screw for the bracket on ?
There is another screw on the ski that is still attached to the bracket I assume you could remove that screw as well. Go to a hardware store and match that screw with one with the right spanner. The hardware store should be able to help you if you are missing both screws. Take one of the skis to the store.

It has finally worked for my nine year old to ride these waterskis! We were about to give up after my daughter tried unsuccessfully for a couple of years to get up on other "beginner skis" behind our inboard boat
Our family enjoys water sports and slalom skis, wakeboards, and wakesurfs on a weekly basis. There was no way to get her to ski despite trying multiple types of skis, ropes, etc. It went so far that we even took out my first set of skis that I learned on almost 40 years ago and tied them together with holes drilled in the fronts. My 9-year-old wanted to ski so badly, but just was not able to get up on skis. A friend told us about beginner skis with wider blades that helped her kids get up for the first time. The last ditch attempt we made with her was to buy these skis. She was being assisted by a person in the water as we usually do when she is getting up. Despite no experience on these skis, she managed to go 50 feet on the first pull I am working on improving. She was up for about a minute and a half after her fifth pull. She was on her feet without any assistance from anyone in the water just a few pulls later. The plastic bar included with these skis made installation a breeze, only requiring about 7 inches between each ski I gave her 8 pulls on each of the skis and each time she was able to get up and stay up. It's been a month since we bought these skis and she's ready to remove the plastic bar holding them However, despite providing a significant amount of stabilization, the plastic bar still allows the skis to move inwards and outwards, albeit with more resistance than usual. Since my daughter could not tilt the skis to make cuts with a bar attached between them, she was unable to get out of the wake and she really wanted to see how cutting in and out would feel. In addition, having the bar placed on each ski helps the child hold them with a straight edge when waiting for the boat to pull them Her lack of a bar worried me because she would not be able to get up and stay up. Even though removing the bar was a bit of a struggle, she got right up and stayed up anyway Because her skis were no longer fitted with a bar, she was able to cut in and out of the wake which was an absolute delight. It takes her 20 minutes to get tired after staying up for so long. In the beginning, I was pulling her to about 16mph, but she now gets up to 18mph (which is a lot for a small/light 9 year old beginner skier on two skis, as this speed is way too slow for an adult). Although she is telling me to go faster at 18mph, she still says she wants the wake to be more narrow and cleaner so she can cut across it She was able to master skiing with these skis because she was confident enough to get up and try. Having made this purchase, we are extremely happy. This is a great pair of skis for a child just learning skis.

It is the perfect size for kids 9 and up! As our full size skies were slipping off the feet of our 9 year old granddaughter, we bought these
After the second effort, the removable bar gave her the boost she needed to get up. You should be careful when attaching the bar with its thumb screws. It was thrown into the lake and I did not catch it. With that, that week's lesson came to an end. In less than two hours, Connelly sent a replacement at no cost to me! Our children are keeping these trainers very occupied for the foreseeable future, since we have five younger grandchildren!.

I did it on my first try! With the help of these skis, my 7 year old son was able to ski quite well! Upon his first attempt and every time after that, he was able to get up
It wasn't too long after that we removed the stabilizer bar, and he was able to stand on his own. The stabilizer bar is one of the things he uses the most, as it gives him a lot of confidence and he acts outrageous (touching the water with his hand, skiing with one hand,.

This is a good ski, but when kids fall, the screw pulls out of the attacher
Skis that are great - My nine year old was up in minutes. The feet are a little big for my 7 year old, but they are fine for my nine year old. I may use them myself (female adult), since they are a nice size for women who are under 140 pounds. I used them on the lake with my son for skiing and the screw ripped out the second time. As he skied, the tips of the skis went under the wave, and he crashed face first into the water. It came up perfectly, and the skis fell off with no damage, but the screw was lost As well as being tightly fastened, it was very flexible. Apart from that, these skiis appear to be very comfortable and of good quality.

It is the perfect size
When your child is a bit too big for the 48" beginner skis that are everywhere, these are a MAJOR step up, but still not so big that your child can't use them like a 60" teen ski. It weighs about 93 pounds for my son, who is 11 years old. I decided that it was because they were too small that he couldn't get up on the 48". His goal was to complete them by the following weekend, so he installed the bar right away. A week after arriving at the lake, we spent the vacation there. His skiing skills increased greatly over the course of the week. He slalomed his way around the lake several times. I cannot say enough good things about this!.

There are skiers in the group! So far, I have only used them once, but they are well worth the money
Their first thing when they woke up (6 and 10) was to get up! In the summer, we tried several other styles, but my daughter was too tall (and her feet were too long) for the kid-sized My 6 year old was going to struggle getting up on these skis but he managed it the first time - I thought they were too big. Both of them have done an outstanding job! I don't think my son's natural standing stance will be compatible with the skis with the stabilizers. As part of our plans, we plan to drill another hole in the stabilizer, so that The bindings on this set are perfect for slalom skiing - I'm super excited about it. She will probably be able to drop a ski by the end of the summer, I think.

Perfect for children who are just learning to ski
The skis were easy to learn for both of my children. It was awesome for them to have the bar that held their skis together, and we ended up using it only once or twice and then it never Let's try to drop a ski now. We found these to be exactly what we needed.

You have hurt your We bought these to have a second pair so we could wear them with our 9 & 11 Skiing together at 12 years old was possible for boys
They complain that they hurt after putting the boots on because they are so tight. A red mark is left behind after they bite. Each of my boys has narrow feet and a slim build. These Rave sports shoes are a lot more comfortable than our other pairs.
