I hope you are doing well. You can install a rod holder anywhere on the kayak, even on the side or in the middle. As the warranty would be voided by products that cut or pierce a kayak, we recommend using one that won't do this. It is my hope that this information was helpful. Thanks for your help!
As I just got this kayak (I just got it), I'm not sure how it goes, but I've seen it done with others.

The kayaks in this photo are for us and Watercraft of this type are incredibly stable, and they glide like a dream in the water. It is a good thing that the seats are very comfortable and I think we can have a lot of fun with them. downside of this design is you have two drain holes right behind your butt, so if you are sitting in the water, water tends to splash up into them and get your rear and seat wet. If you want to stay dry, you need to plug these drain There is not a lot to boast about in the workmanship on the sides. A little roughness or not much smoothness can be present in the plastic. As well, during shipping the front and back of one kayak suffered some minor damage, but it still can be seen. As a whole, I am satisfied with my purchase and will purchase again in the future. In comparison to lifetime 10' tandem kayaks, which move like an anchor attached to them, they have so much better stability and are much easier to maneuver. As they are 12' long and 90 lbs. , the skeg wheels in the back come in handy and let one person move them around without assistance. However, you would not want to move them very far because they are cumbersome and heavy. This family kayak impressed me such a lot with how stable it was in the water. With a 3 year old in the front seat and leaning from side to side, it was incredibly stable. It is a nice kayak for families to enjoy.

The interior is in good condition and the color scheme is nice. The boat is great. The interior is in good condition and the color scheme is nice. A very sturdy material. There are no visible signs of weakness in the material. This is an excellent value for your I found this to be the best deal for the least amount of money after extensive research. My kayak arrived in good shape and was delivered in a timely manner. The company kept me updated and delivered the kayak when I requested. A very good kayak from the $1500 to $2000 range. It's just as good and well equipped with seats, etc as those selling for that price. If you are planning on carrying two kayaks of this size, I would recommend buying a set of beak wheels separately. Large kayaks of this size require two people to carry them, and I mean two strong men or two strong women! As long as it is in a dock, a single person should be able to manage it. Thank you for reading! I hope this helps!.

The kayak is nice. Kayaking is fun and casual with this kayak. This stroller is quite heavy, which makes moving it a bit of a challenge for my wife. The wheel on the back allows you to move it by yourself if you do not have to cross over.

A pair of Spitfire Emotion two-seat seats, as well as a pair of Spitfire Emotion single seats, was ordered Kayaks of the highest quality. The kayaks were shipped on a flat bed truck (as other commenters have mentioned) and were severely damaged when they arrived. The fact that they came in thick clear plastic bags did not protect them as much as other packaging options was not the fault of Emotion, though they were in thick bags. In the end, Amazon (per usual) was great on the phone, and with money we received from them, we were able to buy a kayak-specific melting tool and plastic strips to repair the deep scratches etc. My four stars have nothing to do with shipping issues. Even with the rear skeg wheel, it would be hard for one person to move this. However, it is heavy and hard to move on their own. The kayak tends to lean to one side, which is something I try to prevent as the side of the kayak would scrape. Sometimes, it is difficult to balance on the skeg wheel. A skeg wheel acts as a kind of rear fin on the kayaks, which makes them track quite well. It tracks better than a single at least in terms of maneuverability, but will drift more easily due to the weight difference. We have taken them out to several rivers and lakes in Oregon where we live, and have paddled as much as six miles with them so far I walk 8 miles a day with my 8 year old in front of me. Windy days have taken place around open reservoirs during this time, as well. I also have a 10 year old who can paddle that distance in the single seat Spitfire. All of the boats (especially the tandem) are very stable, and have never come close to tipping. There was also a bit of wobbling in the rear seat. The fix came together very easily with the same melting tool and extra plastic (I would strongly recommend getting one of these for the long run in kayaking! *) **
I would absolutely buy this boat again. It's well-equipped with storage, netting, etc. Although I do wish the skeg wheel was a bit more durable, the wheel appears like it will last. I am concerned that the device will be ineffective if it is made from plastic. Apart from that, I can't see how they can be beat for the price. There are several pros to being an IT professional The skeg wheels make navigating on land easier, particularly on the land, while solid tracking provides a great deal of functionality for the price It would be difficult becase of the dry storage area
Accessories are great, as is the easy loading (into a trailer) and cleanness
CONS This setup could be difficult for a single person to install and remove, since it is heavy. *BSkeg wheels could be made a bit stronger*BSnaps for elastic ropes could be made a bit more durable.

I ordered this kayak for delivery to my brother in law in Florida for my holiday there and it arrived well wrapped and on time. The small wheel in the keel helped to move it on hard surfaces since although I can lift this weight fine, it is very awkward to handle When used solo it works best when a bag of sand is put in front of it to keep the nose down, then it is fine. The seats are OK for a couple of hours paddling, but I advise to keep your legs covered when riding It was a very good experience for me in general.

Although it has many flaws, it is still a good value. Patches and unevenness can be seen in the plastic. The front panel came with a big dent which I will attempt to repair by heating the plastic and using pliers to remove it.

It is the best kayak I have ever owned. My product came with one or two minor parts broken off, but the manufacturer provided me with replacement parts right away. The service was great! The kayak was great.

The fact that the product says Made in the USA brought me to believe that it would be made with excellent craftsmanship. However, I received a defective unit 3 weeks ago and a worse one today, and I am very disappointed in how the product is handled. Based on the original information on this kayak, the weight was stated to be 65 lbs. As you can see from the label attached to the unit, it states There is a big difference between the two!.
