Questions & Answers

What would you choose, this or the Why is there a difference?

My favorite kayak is the Explorer and I would rather go with it than the Explorer. The reason is the Explorer can extend the kayak It is self-bailing with better seats that allow you to raise your upper body over the water on the bottom of the boat has a rolled-up nose to keep water from splashing your paddles. Several times I have driven down the cabarrton river in Idaho on the Explorer without a single issue. You should take the skeg off when you boat in rivers. If you don't, you will just cause problems and most likely lose the skeg. Observe lake or pond regulations when using the Tue Skeg.

Is it possible to remove the seats? Does it only serve as a fishing rod for me?

There is no question the chairs are removable and adjustable. In addition to being a very sturdy boat, it also comes in three colors. boats, and every time we go out, we can have my 12-year-old daughter, myself, and our Border Collie in the same boat.

What is included in this package?

We spoke to the manufacturer, and it no longer comes with a hand pump, despite what the manufacturer said on the box, and what Amazon says.

How much weight can I carry?

There is a weight limit of 330 lbs listed on the kayak. My first time using it, my weight is 210 lbs and I sat in the back while my wife is 130 lbs and she sat in front with our 5-year-old on her lap(about 45 lbs). In addition, I had a dry bag with about 10 lbs When I added almost 400 pounds to the boat, I had no flotation issues

Purchased this product and was very pleased with it
4/5

I love how convenient it is! Our kayaking experience is extensive with other hard kayaks and sit in kayaks as well. We constructed this inflatable for the first time. The price of admission for ours was in line with the quality of the event. On vacation, we use it to make traveling with our kayaks a lot easier since we do not have to carry them on our vehicle for hundreds or thousands of miles. A smooth current is present in the water. In a yak, we can only ride for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before feeling cramped and needing to take a break. My wife is five foot eight inches taller than me, while I am six feet tall. We make due with the kayak's short length for two people our size, but anything considerably longer would be significantly more expensive so it's not a deal-breaker. When paddling correctly on the K2, and using the included skeg, the Explorer K2 tracks well. We paddle hard and fast in unison, so the track is straight and the speed is As soon as the paddles are let off and all paddling is stopped, the boat will drift and the rear will begin to swing out slightly. I don't see the big deal here. Given the price, I'm confident that the materials utilized are durable. Ultimately, we would very much like the inflation valves on the floor, as well as the covers on the front and rear bows and sterns, to be replaced. You can find them on floatation devices like inflatable pool toys, and are usually quite cheap. Those other valves that provide air to the sides are the ones that do not let air escape when the air pump is removed after inflating the sides. As we mentioned above, for the price point, there had to be some sacrosanct areas cut, and these are the ones that were. However, I find that the price is incredibly good for what it offers. By the end of ten minutes, we are done with setup and inflating with the pump provided It takes 12 minutes for inflation to occur, and even faster for deflation. It would be a great product from Intex if they made If you appreciate the convenience of a kayak that can go anywhere (comes with it's own bag), and you would like to get one for a low price, the Explorer K2 is a good option. I want to thank you for taking the time to read my review and if you believe it helps, Willy C. , thanks for your kind words.

Despite purchasing the Explorer K2, I had enjoyed many hours of kayaking in South Florida

About a month ago, however, the seam on the pontoon with the seam on the inside split about half an inch from the edge. The boat will no longer stand behind its promise. The instructions required that I use the supplied round patch with the appropriate adhesive. After completing it once with the supplied patch and adhesive, I went back and sealed it with sealing tape and other sealers. Using a clamp and criss-crossing it, I secured the wire. Despite trying 5 times, the seam continued to split. I gave up after realizing the seam was even smaller than before. After contacting Intex customer service I was told they would be unable to help me because the product was past the Is that true? There was a split in the seam. My actions were in accordance with the Further splits were noticed in the seam. They say it is past the 90-day period so they are unable to fix it and the boat is now useless. Even their suggestions as to how to fix the problem were insufficient. I was informed that I could not fix the seam by the rep. This means I've lost my $85, I don't have a kayak, and this huge supplier says "too bad!" Sorry Intex, I guess you lost both my business and all of the recommendations I gave you to my social network. In any case, if you wish to rectify this, you are welcome to do so. Streams in the mountains are not included
5/5

This was opened up and inflated in my living room, but there was no stream, river, or anything like that inside of it. As for my own, I'm sure I will have to add one. It was too small for the bathtub so I tried it out in the shower. When I tripped over an oar, I did accidentally pull the shower curtain from the rail. That was a good thing, since I hit my head on the side of the kayak instead of on the tub. As a result, my legs were tangled in the shower curtain and the kayak was on top of me so I could not get out of the tub. When I was on top of him he started licking my face because he thought it was funny. The shower was accidentally turned on when I grabbed something and turned my back on it. So, after I'd air out the bathroom, I pulled the kayak out of the house and had a go at paddling on the lawn like it was a level 4 whitewater river. A sprinkler system activated in the middle of all the chaos, so it was a big help. I was jumped on top of again by the dog. After that, I went up to the nearest mountain stream and strapped the thing to the top of my car. My mistake was to forget about the inflatable and deflatable nature of the kayak. I tied the kayak to the car so tightly that the wind kept trying to pull it off, but I was able to steer it well enough despite the wind. The problem with mountain roads is that it can be very slippery. As the car rolled over and over, landing upside down in a mountain stream, ironically, the car went off the side. We floated all the way back through Golden, past the Coors factory, and out the east side of Denver, with the car upside down on top of the kayak, me in the car, and the whole mess in the stream. It was a total loss for my car. It was an awesome kayak, though. This is a good book. If you must tie it to the top of your car, make sure you have a mountain stream handy and that it is deflated.

I had such a good time! Kayaks like this are the best! There's a lake in the middle of which you can swim
5/5

Please re- You won't need to worry about flipping it when you enter. Alternatively, two people can sit on the inflated floor facing one another and enjoy lazy afternoons on the water when both seats are removed. It is also possible to buy kayak anchors and spend time in the sun without getting swept away.
