Kayaks that get the job done / not great / require If the price stays under 800, this is a good beginner kayak

For $830, consider a Vibe Sea Ghost 110. It gives a much better overall performance than an 800-dollar kayak. A kayak without a stand assist bar is nearly impossible to stand up in the first place. Standing on your tippy toes in this area would be very unbalanced due to the downward slant of the feeting area. In addition, there are only 2 flush grip fishing pole holders, not 4, which is a flat lie on their part. Additionally, the bottom of the hull has a weird cutout for the middle compartment seems not to present an issue, but I will bet the plastic is the weakest. As for my rating, I gave it a 3 because this kayak has a lot of great features, like the rudder, and the comfort of the seat. A couple of slight modifications to this kayak in the near future will make it a top-rated kayak for the foreseeable future. This is a new company after all. Yet it is yet to arrive once again, I paid $750 for this kayak. For a great price if it goes over 800, buy a Vibe since they are a well-established company and have already worked out most of the problems and modifications needed to make a good.

It is my son's birthday, and I bought it for him. Taking the kayak out on the Pascagoula River Marsh last weekend was a pleasant experience. The kayak you're looking at is awesome. This vehicle tracks well and is extremely stable. There is a lot of comfort in this seat. A large amount of storage space. It is impossible to find a better kayak for the price. I finally figured it out! This is awesome! I can hardly contain my excitement! Amazon's image gives the impression that it is smaller than it actually is. The erie canal looks like a great place to visit next year. I'm thinking of staying at all the camping spots along the way so I can bring My favorite Kaya is this one. As a result I realized that all my extra rods and gear could be stored inside the hull out of the way from my feet and everything else. We drifted along the stream with ease thanks to the rudder. While the other guys used their paddles to steer, the other guys set down their rods. By using my feet as a rudder, I managed to steer. A great time was had by all!.

I've owned this kayak for several years now, and I must say I like it more than all the rest. When fishing shorelines, it is awesome to be able to control your boat's position withfoot control rudders. You can attach it to the equipment to customize it to your needs thanks to its many attachment points. Having done only one modification, the seat was changed because after a year the support strapping broke at the plastic, so I made some aluminum arms to keep it open, and I raised the seat up about 6 I wouldn't recommend getting it if you plan on transporting it on the roof of your car, but if you want to pick up a cheap one-person boat that you can throw in the back of a truck and hit the road then this is a great choice. It is a kayak and a company I would definitely recommend. No matter if you are a beginner who wants to get into fishing from a yak or you are looking to upgrade from your thin hull sundolphin to a yak that will take your fishing to the next level and not break the bank, this is it.

It's a great place to go It's a great place to go There is a lot of drag on the bottom from a large indented flat on the bottom and the excessive number of drain holes, so going long distances to find new fishing spots isn't a good idea

Despite being very comfortable and allowing me to sit with no discomfort for hours on end, the chair is very expensive. While it is possible to stand up on the kayak, it is a little wobbly for me at 5'10 and 210 lbs. While standing, I wouldn't be able to cast and fish.

I used it as a kayak too today and it was amazing well worth the price i am now able to stand without tipping, which is very handy when sight fishing the flats I can fit everything I need plus some, and the price was very reasonable.

The clasps on compartments are cheaply made and easily break. The company replaced the product quickly, but the new one was again defective. A high price for a low quality product.

My purchase was in October of 2017 I had it for five days. It took a long time to ship the package. In an effort to mitigate the delay, I contacted the company and they gave me a small compensation. The kayak had to be installed once I received it, but there was no instruction manual. One problem I've encountered is some stability issues and hatches that don't seal very well or don't open/close. The rest of the time it's just a budget kayak with the same quality. It's my go-to fishing tool when fishing saltwater flats in North Carolina. Because I'm not a big person, it's not easy to see me. There's not a lot of space in a lot of places. As there are no yaktrak rails in the back, you'll likely need to add some in that part. However, it is an okay movie. It may have been better to put the money towards a better yak and save it on accessories. Nevertheless, it'll have to do for the time being.
