On top of the inflatable, the flag slides right in. In my opinion, if the flag floated independently, it would be better. Dropping it causes it to sink. It was easy for the boats to see and avoid us, but keep in mind that they are only about 1 m tall. This signal can be obscured by waves when it is approximately 2 feet above the water surface. I like the way the buoy's easy to pull and it's relatively lightweight.

A good hand line is needed if you plan to snorkel with this, so keep that in mind. Also, if you find anything, tying a small mesh bag on there is a great way to keep it. There is a lot of value for the price.

The purpose for which we bought the gear was to scallop in the Gulf of Mexico from our kayaks. I've always wanted to have a dive flag, but I've never had the chance. If you will be diving, you can walk out there or swim out there.
This float gets lost with other items in the water. Lol
I will say though that it is nice - I like the float. The bottom should be filled with water, and the top should be blown up. My kayaks or any other boat are not designed for use with this. It is very convenient for transport. I would buy this product again. Purchase a flag that can be attached to a longer pole for these purposes.

This flag pole is flimsy, and it bends easily. There is no way to extend the flag, so it hangs limp. It is difficult to add weight to the bottom, but it must be done, otherwise the bed will roll.
