34 inches wide and shaped like a bow or stern seat, this seat is intended for the bow or stern. A 34-inch-wide sheet of plywood is used as the base and fitted to size. The 41" seat will work for center seats, and then you can cut it down to size.
I say yes to both questions. parts are finished naturally By doing so, the customer may apply a finish that matches the rest of their product. A 41" long replacement seat for this car measures. There is an additional charge for seats in canoes The fenders are long enough that they can be trimmed to fit any location in the boat. Those who convert their tandem canoes into solos do so for a variety of reasons They can now install closer to the center of the frame thanks to the extended length.
There are hints of pine or fir wood in the wood. A stain has been applied and it has been Old Towne Canoe seat it replaces had a width of 8 inches, and this one has about 5 inches less.
It does not come with holes already drilled into the seats There was drilling. In my old seats there were 9 1/2" between the holes, and in these seats there are narrower holes, so this was a necessity Make sure the canoe is drilled. According to them, 8 3/8" would be a good size for them, but definitely not perfect. The ideal distance from center to center (for the holes to be centered) is close to 8 1/4", but I think there is enough room on each side to accommodate 8 3/8" center to center.

It sounds like this is good for a Mad River based on other reviews. If you are replacing an Old Town canoe seat with this one, it is NOT recommended. Approximately 8" of stem is on each side. The number you need is For an Old Town, the center should be 5". You'd better take.
Seat cane area in this canoe is wider than the original panel in my Stowe Mansfield canoe and is more comfortable. I marked the area to be cut on the old seat as I installed it, which made the process extremely easy. The quality of the product is excellent. The product is manufactured in the United States. It seems to be very sturdy. I originally bought the seat to replace a broken one, then I bought the second to replace the broken one, so I now have two chairs that are the same style and look like the original.
My seats were chewed up by squirrels, so I got two new ones to replace them. As the canoe was a little too big for them, I had to make them smaller. Their fit is excellent, and they look really good.
I am slightly disappointed that my husband had to adjust the seat, but it looks nice and the width is good. Be aware that the length is shorter than noted (1/2 inch on one side and 5/8th on the other).
There was a slight difference between the new rail supports and those that were bought at a Mad River dealer, but I was able to fix it. The quality is good and the clean design is appealing.
It was a great seat, we used it on our Mad River canoe as a third seat. It is not long enough to fit perfectly, so you will have to cut it to the correct length, and it does not have the hard wear so you will need to purchase Yet it is a great seat, perfectly suited to two children.
It was just a couple of inches too short for my middle seat, but I managed to make it work. It will be interesting to see how it turns.
I found the seat to be a perfect match for my Mad River Explorer Royalex 16' canoe, model year 2000. Installing the new seat was simple. I used the existing seat as a guide, and used a miter saw to cut the new seat to size. To install the bolts I only had to drill holes in the current seat (I used the guide from the current seat to drill the holes). Only difference I could notice between the stock seat and the new seat is the width of the seating portion (where the cane webbing is attached). The original seats (in 2000) were wider than this one.
