So, I ran my hand across the bottom, and it's mostly flat. The riding surface isn't completely flat, which bothered me at first, but I've gone on long rides and have had no issues or second thoughts. In response to your question, the graphic is slightly convex. It has a slight concave shape on the grip side.
Because this board has very little flex, I wouldn't take it anywhere with a lot of bumps. I tried it on a paved bike trail and nearly fell over a small rock and a twig, but I was only going 2 or 3 mph at the time.
It may be a little big for you, but that's because it's what you're used to. The long boards, in my experience, glide effortlessly over cracks and bumps.
Yes, I purchased this for my daughter, who is eleven years old. It was her first long board, and she was able to ride it once she had overcome her fear. It's been 7 months, and she still rides it on a regular basis!

However, it snapped today while I was carving at less than 10 mph and threw me forward, landing on the ground as expected. I was glad I was wearing protective gear, but I wished I had also worn my helmet. I'm a petite woman (110) who was cruising on a long trail rather than performing any tricks. The truck's nail had just broken in half, and thankfully it was the rear one; I can't imagine what would have happened if the front truck had broken while I was riding. It is not a safe board for anyone, whether a beginner or a pro; in fact, if you are a beginner, it will be even more dangerous because you have not yet learned how to "safely" fall. Parents, if you're looking for a longboard for your kids, stay away from this one. It was a highly rated board, which is why I chose it as my first choice. Get a well-made skateboard from your local skate shop. Made to a high standard. Very let down.
Jiggly Wiggly Hamster is a character in the film Jiggly Wiggly Hamster. I thought I was purchasing a skateboard for my petite hamster, Mr Jiggly Wiggly hamster, but it turned out to be much larger than the picture. The package was much larger and heavier than I had anticipated, which was my first indication that it wasn't what I had expected. When I opened the box, I discovered that my suspicions were correct; I had received a much larger skateboard, large enough for Mr Jiggly Wiggly Hamster and myself to ride together, which would be cool if I could ride it.
I'm over 250 pounds but under 300, so don't worry about breaking it. I used to ride all of the time, but it's been a couple of years since I've had a board. It was so simple to get back on that I expected it to take a few days to regain control, but that was not the case. It's stable in the middle so you can rest your dominant foot, but it's also easy to move back and forth. So far, everything appears to be in working order!.
It's super cute, and it's a good beginner board. BUT--br>--br>--br>--br> The lifts on this board make it difficult to push off and put a strain on your Achilles tendon. br>- The bearings are terrible, and the board is extremely slow as a result. I had to replace them within two weeks of getting the board, and one of the wheels was already broken when I removed it. br>- Until you lubricate the pivot cup, the board is VERY squeaky. br>br>I like the design, but you have to remove the lifts and replace a bunch of parts of the board just to get it to work. If you're going to have to invest a lot of extra time and money in it within the first two weeks, you might as well spend a little more and get a board that will last you a long time before it needs to be serviced.
Especially when it comes to bearings. I felt like I was pushing a wagon with one foot just to keep up with my friend, and this board would slow down to a complete stop in a fraction of the time. If you want to get serious about longboarding, you'll need to invest in new bearings. If you purchase the bearings as well as the skate tool wrench, you will have spent an additional $20. It's not a bad board, but it's only $80 versus $100 for one he's had since middle school. This board was not worth the money, and future longboarders might be better off spending the extra $20.
If you're new to longboarding or aren't sure if you'll like it, this is a good place to start as a cruising board, and you get exactly what you pay for. Wheels and bearings are not good, and if you want to enjoy cruising, you should replace them right away. The trucks are passable, but that's all there is to it. Overall, doing some research and purchasing the components to build a board yourself could save you money in the long run. You'll end up with a board that you'll enjoy using for many years.
It has a good amount of heft to it. The trucks [wheels] roll smoothly and are a good size, and the axels are very flexible. It takes a nice, smooth turn. My son adores this board, which also happens to look like a vintage surfboard, and he can't stop admiring and riding it. I'm ecstatic because I used to enjoy skateboarding as a kid, and I'm glad he does as well. This board is fantastic, and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Ok ok ok. Keep a close eye on it. Between the ages of 11 and 20, I skateboarded. I'm just a chubby old man teaching his own 9-year-old son these days. year- daughter, who is twelve years old I purchased this longboard with little expectation of being surprised. br>I enjoyed it so much that I returned to participating in this sport. This product is of extremely high quality. The board material is of the highest quality, runs smoothly, and is extremely attractive, and I highly recommend it to beginners. For beginners, it has great stability. br>The only reason I didn't give it five stars for stability is that I think it could be a little firmer at higher speeds, but that's a personal opinion from someone who tests this long board's limits. This is far more than enough for a beginner. It's a fantastic product; I'm over his weight limit and he's still perfect; you can buy with confidence, knowing that you'll enjoy it and won't be disappointed.
