Selected User Reviews For Puma SGB Trail Guide Stag Hunting Knife with Leather Sheath
Knife is of excellent quality.
While serving in the Canadian Forces in Lahr, West Germany in 1975, I personally tried the grip, feel, and balance of all Puma and other knives in stock at the Rod and Gun Shop. Gun Club. By far the best match for me was the Trail Guide. On one deer hunt, an elk hunter tried out my Trail Guide and offered to trade his Puma Skinner and $150 for it. I paid 00 for this knife and used it to field dress and skin three deer in one day without having to sharpen it. It was easy for me to split each pelvis with it. Other knives have come and gone in my collection, but old faithful remains at the top.
