It's no problem for me to weigh 235 pounds. A sturdy and durable frame makes riding easy, and you'll enjoy the smooth ride as well. There's a lot to like about this MAX3 scooter and I highly recommend it.
There is no comparison. These air filled pneumatic tires give a far better ride, and a far more comfortable ride, than solid tires do. Tires on the Max 3 are self healing, so you don't have to worry about them. The scooter has been with us for more than 3 months, and we haven't had to add air to it since then. The town in which we live is a dusty desert town, so there are no sidewalks, potholes, gravel, and dirt roads my nephew rides his bike to work five days a week, four days round trip, and he hasn't had any tire issues. When I first got air inflated tires, I was worried, but that worries is long gone now. A scooter of a different brand was delivered with worn tires, and I had a horrible, rough, and uncomfortable experience as well. In the end, I returned it and purchased a second scooter with rubber honey comb tires, similar to pneumatic tires, and it is smooth and great to ride as well. All in all... I believe these scooters handle and ride best with rubber pneumatic tires, or The only time I would use any other method is if you are on smooth surfaces like smooth streets or walkways. Furthermore, these are 10" inches in diameter, allowing for easy access to any nook or cranny. It felt unsafe to me, and I felt less in control of my scooter as a result, not just during the ride, but all throughout.
