That's correct. However, as a reference, I would download the parktool chart.
Yes, this will almost certainly work for you. The tension meter comes with a handy gauge to measure your spoke diameter as well as an extensive table to allow the meter readings to be corrected to account for virtually any diameter. It's also very simple to operate and appears to provide consistent and reliable results. Thank you for your interest.
With my spoke tensionometer, I didn't get a multi-tool. I gave my honest opinion on the tool in the review I wrote. Is there a bribe for a five-star review?
It does not include a wire because it is pre-calibrated. Don't make any changes. It comes with a chart and a spoke thickness gouge to help you figure out how much tension you have.

It's a handy tool for checking tension on each spoke without having to use musical notes. It isn't the most precise tool, but it gets you close and is a lot less expensive than the blue company.
It's simple to use and provides accurate results. The conversation chart and spoke diameter tool that came with the kit were also a nice touch and extremely useful. I expect to get a lot of use out of this tool, and it's well-made, so it should last for years in my toolbox.
This is a great addition to my toolbox. br>br>The only drawback, and thus - The spring hinge screw appears to come loose with frequent use, earning it a one-star rating. I noticed that some of the reading was becoming strange and caught it before the screw was re-installed. (It happened three times) (I built my wheels four times). Tighten it, but not to the point of locking it, or your readings will rise. However, a squirt of locktight did the trick.
So far, it appears to be doing its job in terms of checking spoke tensions. The three stars are due to quality control issues, as evidenced by the presence of two plastic washers between the arrow indicator and the readout in the product photo. When I measured something, the arrow indicator scraped across the readout because the front washer was missing. It resembled a pair of scissors in both feel and sound. In addition, the arrow hangs at random and gives false readings. I moved the back washer to the front to solve the scraping problem because it was practically useless and just flopped around. I had the option of returning it for a refund, but I chose to keep it. This review would have received a higher rating if it hadn't been for the scraping issue that I had to resolve.
"If you broke it, you fix it," I am a firm believer. My 20-year-old son comes up short on landings and CRUSHES the rim every now and then. I share the blame. Anyway, I made the decision to return to wheel building and teach my son how to do it. To assist, I created a few jigs. I thought I would share the results because the one pictured is only about 75% done but I thought I would share the results because I thought I would share the results because I made a calibration tool to check the spoke tension tool's accuracy, and it was dead on. When I finish the jig, I'll try to post some prettier pictures. It took a few hours to construct this jig, but if you're going to do something, do it right! 0 Steel Spoke, 120 KG should, and darned if the tool doesn't hit 25 right on the mark.
Because the indicator was scraping the graduated ruler, I moved the plastic washer from beneath it to above it. Now things are looking up. with accuracy The precision is a little shaky. 2- is what I recommend. 3 readings, with a brief pause to allow the tool to settle.
This tool will help you get the proper spoke tension. It's adequate for the price, but it's not a high-precision instrument. By 2010 to 2015 on the same spoke over repeated readings, readings will vary. The gauge needle drags slightly over the graduated scale, possibly coming to a halt before an accurate reading can be taken. It appeared that lubricating the scale was beneficial.
It appeared to be spot on. It was simple to operate. I'd never trued a bicycle wheel before, but with this device, I was able to do so on four of them. With just a little trial and error, I was able to get them all perfect. error. And I did it while the bikes' wheels were still attached to the bikes. I highly recommend this product because it is less than half the price of the same Park tool ( I'm a big fan of everything Park. The only thing I'm going to change is to use thread locker on the pivot point screw so it doesn't back out while using the tool. It's not a big deal; I adore this device!.
