We recommend using two SpokeLits per tire, but if that is not possible, one will suffice depending on the bike. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact our Customer Service Team at 1-888-888-888. 800- 678- 6483, M- F 8 AM - 5 PM MST.
It emits light in the colors of red, green, blue, and white. You can change the colors between red, green, and blue. When I went over some more rocky terrain, it came off. I didn't notice it fall off on the back tire, so I lost it. When it fell off the front tire, I noticed it, and I believe it would be better if it was more securely attached to the spokes rather than relying on pressure to keep it in place. It appeals to me that it is rechargeable, as it eliminates the cost and time associated with battery replacement.

Mine broke off and was lost, but it was only $20. It has a good light and is simple to charge. Only pressure keeps it in place. Because it was behind me, I didn't notice when the one on the rear tire spokes fell off at night. When I arrived at my destination, I discovered it had fallen off when I went to turn it off. On my way home, I looked for it, but it was nowhere to be found. It was nowhere to be found Someone, I believe, discovered Because the light was turned on, it became visible. I had to replace the one that was mounted on the front tire spokes twice because it had fallen off. it was found in the I noticed it fall off the road. I I'm looking into a way to secure it in place so that it doesn't come loose from the spokes if the pressure holding it in place is jarred loose by riding over a bump. I intend to suggest to the manufacturer that the light be better secured so that it does not come loose from the spokes.
My husband and I are seniors who live in a warm climate and ride our bikes to stay in shape during the pandemic. We ordered four of these spokelits, one for each wheel, for our two bikes. Turning these on at dusk while riding our bikes around our neighborhood is a lot of fun. It's so much fun to ride our bikes by them with our Nite Ize Spokelit Rechargeable Bicycle Spoke Lights on, ring our bike bells, and wave! It's been a great way to have human contact and spread joy without having to get too close to anyone!.
I highly recommend this device for all night cyclists because it holds a charge for a long time, fits snugly, and has enough light to make your wheel more visible from the side. It would be nice if it could be clipped to two spokes so I could mount it further out on the wheel, or if the flange or wings were a little longer so I could mount it further out without worrying about it turning and getting caught on the fork. I currently mount it about 8 inches from the hub, where the spokes are close enough for the wings to touch spokes on both sides of the mounting spoke. Whatever the case may be, I believe this is the best product available for lighting up here from the side.
At night, these are stunning. I'm blown away by how bright and long-lasting they are. They are simple to install; simply slide them in from the wheel's outer edge to the center. On them, there are guidelines for where the spokes should be aligned. They're very secure; they haven't moved an inch. I managed to get two, one for each wheel. The color-scheme It's fun to change things up, but I'd rather keep it the same color all the time. It's very simple to change colors; all you have to do is press one button. the use of buttons.
On 3-wheelers, I accompany them. 6 hours in the evening or night I've been waiting for these NEW USB versions for a long time. With a single click, you can change the color. I've been riding nonstop for 6 hours and they've stayed bright and lit! Mine took a little over an hour to charge completely. They don't include USB charging cables, but that's fine because I found a multi-USB cable on Amazon. Overall, I am very pleased with my Spokelit. I strongly advise you to do so.
To secure the Nite Ize wings with zip ties, I drilled 1/8" holes near the end of the wings. This has three benefits over the other two options. the traditional method of attaching: 1) The light can be mounted very close to the wheel rim without becoming too loose. br>2) It cannot be knocked off by bumps in the road. br>3) To cut the zip ties and steal the light, a thief will need a tool. br>br>I use two of the lipstick-style chargers for charging. By placing the Nite Ize close to the floor and connecting the chargers with short cords, you can create a stylish USB power bank. Other than that, these small power banks can be used as on-the-go charging devices. the- If you keep your phones charged all the time, you'll be fine in a power outage.
I used to have a battery-powered set, but when I saw the rechargeable option, I decided to upgrade because I'm riding more at night now. I'm not sure if that was necessary because I never had to change the batteries in my previous set. This brand is one of my favorites; I've been using the dog tag lights for years, and the batteries last the entire winter. My only complaint is that the rechargeable option is a little bulkier than the original, and the button is a little more difficult to press, so if you have weaker fingers, the original may be preferable.
Light rain didn't seem to affect it.
