Because I already own an 11-year-old, I decided to buy this. With a score of 28 (105) and an 11-point margin of victory, R8000 is 32. I needed a tape to fill in the gaps between the 11th and the 12th. 28th and 11th I was 32 at the time, so I went with the 11-year-old. 30 R8000. It performs well on both climbs and flats, making climbing much easier and flats even better. After about ten minutes, you should be able to dial in your cadence. 15 minutes into your ride, especially if you're used to running either an 11- or an 11-minute mile. 28 or 11-.
Despite the fact that the r8000 is only 47 grams lighter than my factory r7000 (105) cassette, shitting felt a lot smoother. My bike came with Ultegra front and rear derailleurs, but they swapped out the cassette for a 105 cassette because it is more durable. This r8000 cassette was purchased when I purchased a new set of carbon wheelsets, and I am very happy with it. Even when climbing a hill, the shifting is smooth. It was well worth the money, and Competitive Cyclist got it to me on time and in good condition. I'm planning on replacing my r7000 on my training wheel with another r8000.
11- I've come a long way since I was 11-years-old. With a 52/36 chainring, you'll be able to complete this project in 28 minutes. The first eight gears all have the same number of teeth. The last three are only used for climbing and are slightly lower in elevation. As a result, I'm able to spin five times faster. When climbing, increase the RPM by ten percent. My times have gotten faster, and I'm putting out more watts with less effort.
New? Not sure. It was taken out of the original package for a new product. I'm not sure if this is brand new or if it has been refurbished.
There were no chips around the edges that I could see - It appears to be a factory defect / quality control issue because the teeth were completely smooth. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence (I returned this one and replaced it with a different, much cheaper Shimano cassette, which I had no problems with - Despite the fact that I believe Shimano equipment is generally of good quality, I felt compelled to report.
bicycles at the end The Shimano Ultegra R8000 cassette is simple to install and provides quiet, smooth shifting when used with the appropriate chain. Don't be fooled into believing that the chain is already assembled. It is not lubricated in any way. The metal is protected by whatever is on the chain. It's a lot cheaper and lasts a lot longer than Dura- Cassettes of the highest quality.
Because I use zwift to ride a lot of flats. This gives me a little extra oomph when I'm flatlander racing around Watopia. I don't think there's much of a difference between this and the bottom tier, but I figured I'd give it a shot. It has 2400 miles on it and looks great, but the less expensive 105 has gotten me almost 6000 miles. These things, on the other hand, are quite nice. Any tier of Shimano, in my opinion, is a great buy.
Shifting is flawless, but the Ultegra cassette has an aluminum carrier that doesn't bite my Vision aluminum freehub, and the Ultegra has more evenly spaced jumps throughout the cassette, whereas the Sram has smaller jumps in the middle gears and larger jumps in the lower gears. It's a matter of personal taste, but I find that the Shimano cassette makes it easier to find the right gear:
