When you look closely at the Amazon depiction, one of the shifters is eight positions, the other is three. Replace position 8 but don't use buy/replace position 8 and all will be fine.
One part was missing on mine and the gears did not shift. As a result, they were sent You will get your money back.
The ones I received were faulty, so I returned them. The parts are not original. There are holes in the screws.

Despite the fact that these shifters are new, they are of high quality. A bad thing is that both cables have small kinks in them since they appear to have been installed previously. My intention is to install the cable for the right shifter, but I suspect I'll need to change it out. My order of cables was in bulk so there wasn't much of an issue. When they sold me bike chains (the box had been opened) they were kind enough to include additional masterlinks for free to ensure I had everything I needed to install never used bike chains at a great price. These are several dollars cheaper than Shimano, but appear to be of similar Certainly, if I have a different experience after my use of them for a few weeks, I will update this review.
They work well and were a perfect match for the original shifters on my bike. The installation was simple and the bike shifts like new with no issues. Removal of the rubber handlebar grips proved to be the most challenging part of the installation. There is still one nice touch about these shifters -- the cables are already You won't need to provide your own cables, thus saving time and effort.
There is a minor annoyance in that the gear indicator isn't working properly for gears 1 to 3. This is the case because the display does not center the gear number on 8. It doesn't affect the functionality, and you'll get accustomed to it over time. As a whole, the gear display is a definite improvement over my old one There were no longer readable shifters for shifters 8 and 9. Since these are so inexpensive and my shifters always wear out, I am tempted to buy another set as a spare.
The new grips also worked well, if a touch more of an adjustment is needed but the shift is just as good as the grip shift.
I ordered these in place of my old Shimano levers thinking it was Shimano, but it's not. It's a Shimano knock-off. A Shimano logo is missing from these offs. While they work fine, the gear indicator does not show 8 in the current box it displays incorrect alignment with the gear you are in. Its fit and finish, however, is not quite as good as Shimano, but it represents a significant cost savings This is a poor quality product. Will come back with an updated review once I have used them for a bit.
When I ordered these I thought they had to be made by the same vendor that makes them for Shimanno. I was clearly mistaken. As I received the shifter levers, I found both to be in good shape, except the plug that goes into the cable The plug I used in my old shifter seemed normal at the time, so I used it. In the course of installing the trigger, the cable did not move at all, but the trigger would wear out. There might be a problem with the internal wiring of the cable. It was a quick return through Amazon and I was able to buy a new, upgraded shifter from the dealer for about the same price.
I do not believe this was the sellers fault. I just happened to receive an inside-out broken shifter.
I spent two days trying to figure out how to do that. I was unable to shift because of incorrect shift distances and it appears I was using gears that weren't compatible with my thumb shifter. The bike shop will take care of my order.
My Trek 1 worked like a charm with these. It looks the same as Shimano trigger shifters I used to have on another bike. It works in much the same manner. Tuning difficulty is average, but all 8 gears in the back work well with the 3-speed, and the two gears up front work fine with the 4-speed This mechanical shifter (the H screw keeps it from shifting out of 2nd gear) is controlled by the human foot. I can't complain about the price! This is a great deal at this price!.
The shift ratio is too short. Despite the front derailer functioning perfectly, I was only able to get 6 gears out of the rear. My chances of getting 1 were good You can type six or three that explains the ratio or compatibility of the pieces in the description. It's not recommended to buy these unless you have an extremely narrow rear derailer.
