Questions & Answers

Does this derailleur have a direct mount (DM)?

The hanger mounts onto your derailleur.

Can the chain gap adjustment gauge be used with this tool?

In fact, all GX rear derailleurs first out of the box come with the plastic guide for setting up the chain gap. As they come, so do we.

Do you think this would fit a Diamondback sync'r pro 2016?

What else is on it may determine what else is on it. There is a lot of Sram Eagle stuff that is difficult to mount.

How do I install this? Does it come with the B bolt?

There is no doubt about that, the derailleur comes with B bolts.

I prefer NX to this
5/5

After I had a bum NX derailleur, I decided to upgrade to GX rather than wait for a warranty replacement to arrive. There is a noticeable difference in weight between the GX and Also, it seems to be much more sturdy than the NX products. When it comes to the extra few dollars, the GX would be an excellent choice over the NX.

Is it really necessary to have It is a 12-inch GX Eagle A speed system would work as well as a 12-speed system with same benefits For only $375 you get speed, power, and efficiency! In comparison with other 12-speeds, the SRAM GX Eagle 12 is Despite the fact that the rear derailleur arrived in excellent packaging, it was almost displayed like a sample
5/5

I had no problems installing the software In order to adjust The Hi/Lo screws, simply adjust the screws The B-tool included with this package gives you an added bonus by helping you to space It was difficult to adjust the tension screw. The procedure is free and takes only a few It was a B+ An important factor to consider is tension spacing As soon as I found the perfect setting, shifting up and down between gears was crisp and precise, with no chain hopping, no missed shifts, and no In the same way as I replaced my derailleur with a speed GX, which has a cage lock so that I'll be able to remove the wheel without having to disassemble the pulleys. As a result, the lower pulley has a narrow-hole configuration This tooth pattern grabs hold of the chain and keeps it secure during those rough trails. This upgrade was from a 10-inch computer to a 13-inch computer You will not believe how much of an improvement it was to the speed setup! It really is amazing how well the entire GX Eagle System works for its price tag (about $375 for the groupset minus the cranks). It feels just like the X01 Eagle System without the gold bling and, more importantly, it satisfies both these criteria. All of this is offered at an incredibly affordable price. It's refreshing to shift crisply and smoothly. A surprising low amount of noise is generated by the drive train. This is possible because there are so many gears (and a climb more trails for longer periods of time with less effort. I'm delighted that I've upgraded to GX Eagle it looks like SRAM has improved 12-speed transmissions quite a bit. Having both reliability and affordability at the same time is a good combination. My group would have been much more helpful if it had been set up years * NOTICE My purchase of the GX Eagle 12-inch camera was successful A rear derailleur with eight speeds, XG-spec The Eagle 1275 GX is an aluminum 12-inch The cassette is a 12-speed GX Eagle The GX-600 has a speed trigger shifter and a GX-400 A 12-year-old Eagle An automatic chain of speed. It is likely that some of this review will be repeated in my reviews of other products.

Destroyed the rear derailleur repeatedly over a long period of time
3/5

I loved the 12th gear range both for when I needed it and for when I didn't need it.

I hate getting into a wheel spin with a broken rear derailleur for the fourth time! The skin on their backs is as sensitive as a baby's. On my hardtail, I have never had an issue with the 1x11 group set. The thing I cannot figure out is why not one time the derailleur hanger worked and protected the I will credit the following people for the issues Observations 1. Is there a problem with too hard shifting? (I never had such a problem with 1x11 though). Sprocket cage directly caught up with branch -- 3. bent
My memory fails me, but it bent again so I upgraded to the 'stronger' component grade 4. Perhaps the broken spoke got caught in the cage again, bent far to the left, and the spokes got rubbed. It is not known whether a broken derailleur caused the spoke to break or the other way around. - If that is the case - I am looking to replace the entire set. I can't afford to keep spending $150 a month The number is typically 220 every six months.

I have finally found a rear derailleur that works It was time to upgrade from the rear mech I was using with SRAM SX to something that would not require constant adjustment on a normal trail ride
5/5

The GX version is legit, and is better than the SX version. NX I cannot speak for, but GX I can say is worth the investment. There are fast shifts, crisp and smooth, and most importantly, they are My system has not required any adjustments since it was installed. Choosing this upgrade over any other is one of the best upgrades you can make to any applicable mountain bike. Take your time to feed the cable to the tension bolt and make sure the tension screw on the B bike is set correctly. I got away with using the b tension guide they provide and then setting it just a few mm closer since you need someone on the bike to set it.

The derailleur has been replaced with a Sram X01
5/5

On a 90 volt full suspension ebike with the BBSHD mid drive, I have this installed. As a replacement for my original X01 derailleur, which got damaged when a branch tangled in the chain and broke the cage, I decided to purchase this. Because the cage here is metal instead of carbon fiber, the chip is less likely to splinter when it breaks. A larger lower cog is also present, as well as the ability to handle a larger cassette and 12 speeds compared to This unit is half as expensive as another X01 and works perfectly. There is a 53mph top speed on the bike.

There are 12 purely smooth shifts in this video! The quality of SRAM is as good as ever
5/5

These are my 2and GX that I get for my bikes and I use them to replace the stock SX that comes with every hardtail I own. You will find out soon enough why you need the GX eagle mech instead if you are riding the SX-based entry mech. The shifts are smooth as butter! I recommend it!.

With this tensioner, you can use a cassette with up to 50 teeth and 11 speeds
5/5

The Shimano XT long leg tensioner was installed and a 1 X 11 system with a 32 chainring and 11/50 cassette was installed. It should be Sram, but I wanted it to be It is recommended for cassettes with up to 42 teeth to use a Sram 1 X 11 gear system. Using the GX 12 speed tensioner, the 11/50 11 speed cassette, and a GX 11 speed pushbutton, I got the maximum speed of 12 rpm. I adjusted the tensioner and the movement stopped properly after that. If chain slack checking tool is used, it is left in place.

It seems that SRAM 12 XD Driver stuff is not getting much love
3/5

In general, I do not like SRAM much. In any case, a new 12 GX got bent in half on me, and I didn't feel like replacing the XD driver until it was too late. You can get them dialed in and they will work fine. But I will take XT (or SLX) any day. Though my experience convinced me to switch to 11 speed Shimano (by swapping.
