The product works well, but an instruction sheet would have been helpful
5/5

A friend of mine gave it to me so I could sell an old bike with a broken rear brake cable. hard time deciding where to thread the main cable past the connection point, since this is different from the original (and the front one). I believe there is a way to cut the extra cable so that it doesn't unravel, like mine did. Would it be possible to wrap the area with tape and then cut through it? It was impossible for me to put on the little end thingy, so I had to use electrical tape. It would be helpful if there were a brief instruction sheet for individuals who are not experienced in bike maintenance. In any case, it appears to be working well, so perhaps I can now sell it.

This is a simple and easy to install product
5/5

Due to my paranoia about my stock brake wire carrier releasing the end of the wire while riding and possibly launching me over the handlebars, I bought this. I once owned a vehicle with a break wire connecting the two brakes just resting on an open carrier, and there was a possibility that it could break during a ride and lock the front wheel (albeit a small possibility). Nonetheless, I am less worried about that happening with this carrier because the brake wire of the carrier is enclosed within the triangle and so cannot fall off. Despite the low price, all pieces are good quality and look pretty good on the bike (which means they don't stand out too much, and I hardly even If I was buying a new bike with a similar brake setup to my current one, I would probably buy this.

Cable carrier with a nice triangle
5/5

With this carrier you get much better looks than the typical affordable stamped alloy carrier that often comes with many centerpull brakes - it actually looks quite good! Especially for the elderly This is where the school center is located Using calipers, pull the piston. As a result, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you can slide a double-wide Old straddle cable that ends in a hook If the cable pinch bolt is removed, and then the bolt is reinstalled, the school center will pull downward from the top of the triangle. You will get a bit more power from the vintage center pull brakes with this carrier. Because it is slightly wider than the old punched carriers, it will look much better.

The strap can be adjusted easily and is These have a pinch bolt to hold the straddle cables in place so that you can center the brakes left or right using the grip

These are a little more attractive than the old Dia Compe style ones, in my opinion.

It would be nice if there were more brakes
4/5

With my cross bike brakes, I've changed a few things, starting with the cable and triangle. There is a noticeable improvement in stopping power over the stock materials that came with my avid shorty 4 brake kit. In addition, I made the cable stop move from the stem to the fork mount, since I heard it would decrease front end oscillation when braking hard. Since the cable stop affects the height adjustment, the brake does not utilize the mechanical advantage it could, reducing its mechanical advantage. have had this product on for over a year now and am still happy with it.

The brake can be easily adjusted to keep it centered and keep the wheel engaged.
