Questions & Answers
Does it need to be this way in order for the Yepp Mini to work ?
My Townies have only quill stems from what I have observed. In the event that yours has a quill stem, this adapter is not necessary. Threadless stems are the only ones that require it.
What are the benefits of having this accessory?
Using this adapter is necessary if the matching adapter cannot be used on a bike with no threads. It is necessary to have this adapter if you own a modern mountain bike (e.g. For example, Santa Cruz Bronson, Specialized Stumpjumper,
What if it is not compatible with a carbon stem but a carbon frame?
Your inquiry to Thule has been received. The stem can be steel as long as it is steel. Seat posts made of carbon are not compatible.
Is it possible to mount the Yepp mini to a modern threadless road bike headset using this adaptor?
Yep, you can, but if you have a very sporty posture on the bike, you may not find the Yep Mini comfortable to ride on, do a practice mock up with tape and see if the back hitches your chest while you ride.

I like it. The angle of the plate is not perfect, but it is sturdy The angle for the child is off by one start, so the child is reclining in a very reclined position. Use it if you want to have fun. With no problem, we use it to descend mild slopes. We have water gun fights on bikes (and on the ground). The rider fit has been criticized in other reviews. If you're towing a trailer, then you can carry a child without having an impact on your fit and mounting. The more space I had, the better. I lowered my seat and moved it backward to make this work. Having wider bars will help you reach farther. Better still, a seat post that drops would be even more useful. No fit issue can be attributed to the product, rather to the fact that you are carrying a child.

The assembly's alignment and competence were both manifestly misaligned. The lack of quality assurance would have reported this, but there doesn't appear to be any. You should not allow this to happen to your child. The screw on the left side was misaligned and overtightened, whereas the screw on the right side was firmly seated. The type of stress this would apply to ABS plastic would result in a crack and a catastrophic break, resulting in a dropped child. As I was trying to fix the assembly with my power tools, I almost broke my wrist. Although I had 195 lbs, I was not strong enough to overpower the misaligned bolt. I managed to survive by remaining cautious and keeping A piece of work that is meant for 9 month-olds to 2 year-olds should not be sold to the latter without first ensuring the quality. The business you're in is not right for you. This action should be taken against you and you should be If you care about your child, do not purchase this product. The company obviously does not care about their own children.

While it does what it is meant to do, it is still uncomfortable for use on mountain bikes
It allows you to mount the seat on a mountain bike, but mountain bikes aren't very compatible with As I kept bumping my knees into the back of the seat, I had to stand on my rubber soles in order to pedal. It took me a while to find a basic comfort hybrid bike (Dadcycle) with a high handle bar that so much more comfortable than my old one.

Kids who have light skin will like it
The product is not suitable for children over 25 pounds. Sturdiness is not very high on the list of this bracket's qualities. On the bend, it flexes right away. An older one (the older one was cracked in precisely the same spot) was replaced by this one. I was told this mattress was capable of supporting a child weighing 33 lbs. but my daughter weighs 29 pounds. If a child were over 25 pounds, I would not trust it. It would have been nice if there was a stronger.

I was 27 when I worked
There are five Cannondale mountain bikes. I found it to work as described. It was shipped by rocket ship ahead of schedule. Thule Yepp Mini is compatible with my computer and I have not encountered any issues.
Money and time wasted
What a waste of money and time. My seat is not compatible with this adapter, which I bought to install a Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini Seat. If this is supposed to be an adapter for this seat, how could it be possible. During the process of tightening the screws, I scratched my frame to a point where it was strong enough not to give way. We do not recommend it. The only way I could give this one star is to do so.

My Trek FX 7 has no problems with this
I tested it with my Trek FX 7 and it worked.
Only thing I did not like was how long it took to put the nuts on the long bolts, but most of all, it is.

My experience with this adapter was marred by two issues. My Ride1Up 500 ebike resulted in the child seat being reclined and not giving me room to pedal since the saddle sat tightly against the bike. Furthermore, as stated in other reviews, the seat was wobbly compared to the adapter that comes standard. I guess I'll try the slimfit adapter next to see if that works with my bike.
