There was a problem with the hardware that came with ours. It kept falling off the bolts after each ride. We liked the seat anyway, so we went to Lowe's and got replacement nuts, bolts, and lock washers to replace the ones that were Rather than using the one that came with it, we bought and cut a long piece of steel to use as braces, as the stock brace bent and wasn't The new hardware means the seats are perfect for what we need now! In case you don't change out the hardware, make sure you keep an eye on it regularly. Additionally, there is a Velcro strap that is used for the seatbelt.
