Questions & Answers
There is a city select lux and a nuna carseat pipe in our household. The stroller and car seat are all connected, but we can't remove the car seat from it. How can I do this?
The problem was the same for us as well! On either side of the handle where it meets the car seat are two small rectangle buttons. The adapter can be released with these buttons pressed. Occasionally, you have to take things one by one. Our Nuna Pipa is just a few years old, so it's tough to detach, I'm not sure if the newer ones are also tough to detach.
Could you pair this with a City Go car seat?
It is not a convertible car seat - it has an adaptor. The Baby Jogger website compatibility guide can be found here
The City Select lux double stroller is compatible with this adapter, right?
Only the top portion of the stroller can use this adaptor it is not designed to be used on the bottom of the stroller. The only babies you can use this for are single ones.
Are you able to use this option with City Select Double Lux or just Double Lux?
The only thing that seems to have changed is While I am aware that city select is not a compatible version for lux cabinets
Selected User Reviews For Baby Jogger Maxi-COSI/Cybex Car Seat Adapters for City Select and City Select LUX Strollers, Black
With it I will be able to drive a Nuna Pipa
purchased these so that I can use them with a Nuna Pipa car seat and a City Select stroller. I found it to be perfect. Originally, I thought getting the seat off the stroller was difficult, but it turns out that I did it wrong. There are tiny grey tabs that remove the seat from the stroller base, which are unrelated to the button on the back of the seat. Using the stroller, I felt that the seat was very secure.

This car seat is compatible with Nuna Pipa
For my baby jogger city select stroller and the Nuna Pipa car seat, I ordered this adapter. I was able to find an adapter for the Nuna Pipa after much searching, but I am glad to say it.

The Maxi Cosi AP car seat is compatible with this product
A City Select stroller was given to us as a gift, and from the beginning, it has been disappointing- It is too heavy, the seats are not flexible (one child ends up with shoes in other child's face, older toddlers have to ride up top for it to cross a curb, and they have difficulty climbing into it, and you cannot recline the seat when two kids are in it). As I've mentioned, one of the first things I didn't like was that even though they say the stroller is compatible with Maxi Cosi car seats (or even most of them), they only mention in the fine print that this does not mean all of them. City Select customer service failed to offer any assistance when we tried working directly with them (surprise, surprise, they are unfriendly and unhelpful) and I do not think there is any adapter that works with the Maxi Cosi AP infant car However, the infant seat isn't tightly secured (you can rock it back and forth a bit about 1 1/2" and forth with the seat locked in), however from reading the other reviews, I think that is the way it's supposed to be (or as good as it gets). The good news is that it works, and that relieves my anxiety. It isn't in my budget to spend another $200 on a pram attachment, so I will not be buying one.

This stroller works well with Nuna Pipas and the standard Baby Jogger City Select stroller
I have the 2016 Baby Jogger City Select tandem double stroller (standard). Previously I had a 2016 Nuna Pipa that I attached with a different adapter, but that car seat was damaged, so I just bought a 2019 Nuna Pipa (Standard Pipa, not Lince), which unfortunately requires another The adapter works best in the slot closest to the handle - the top slot. A seat can be easily attached to and detached from the chair. The red tab, on the other hand, is completely unknown to me. As far as I can tell, the handlebar strap is equivalent to a back strap Parachutes are used to get up. My personal opinion is it is not critical, but I will generally use it since, despite being 5'2", I usually fully extend the handlebar anyway to create space for my Diono storage attachment for cups and my phone before I reach the Pipa.

It is not possible to combine a car seat and a second seat
It is not possible to combine a car seat and a second seat. In no way do I intend to face my child into the car seat while he stares at it. Both the baby and I would hate to have to endure that unpleasant experience. This is a bad idea as there is a high chance the baby will hit the forehead instead of the car seat or seatbelt. My purchase of the stroller would have been less costly if I had known.

There are a lot of components to it, I knew leaving a review was important after I spent a LOT of time searching for very little information
The Maxi Cosi Mico Max 30 infant seat and the City Select Lux stroller are both in my possession. After hours of struggle, I finally got these adapters to work! If you are facing the stroller from the front, the LEFT adapter goes on the left, not the right as if you are pushing. Getting the car seat to attach was difficult because you can insert them incorrectly in the stroller, but cannot insert them in the car seat. once more, each adapter is marked left and right, which is when you are facing the front of the stroller and insert the right adapter. I didn't need to do anything else after that point. In no time at all, the car seat clicked into place. On the left and right sides of the car seat, you have to push the little gray tabs to release the car We spoke with a representative of a company that sells adapters, and they said.

This adapter has a lot of flaws
During the past five years, I have been using a baby jogger city select car seat adapter with a Chicco Keyfit 30 infant seat. This adapter is said to work with the Chicco Keyfit 30 as well as the Nuna Pipa. Having bought a brand new Nuna Pipa car seat, the old adapter failed to function properly. A Nuna Pipa car seat adapter that was previously purchased will not work with the new seat. I contacted customer service for more information. That is something I did not know! In order to use this car seat adapter with my Nuna infant car seat, I purchased it. When I had my old car seat adapter, I had no issues, but when I got this new one my problems were numerous. In the first place, the adapter makes it quite difficult to attach the front seat. There was a need to put the front seat canopy all the way down in order to fit the infant seat on the same car seat. You may be able to position the front seat facing the car seat but it is necessary to adjust the leg rest out so that the basket fits in place. Since it's a pain and I don't see myself putting a toddler in that way ever anyway, I don't see myself doing it. There is no good reason to have safety straps hanging down from this adapter. To attach the straps to the stroller handle, you need to extend the handle of the stroller all the way. It feels like I'm driving the stroller this way so I don't often use it this way. It would be nice if they seemed to attach in some other way so that you didn't have to extend the handle Overall, I think I'm going to keep this adapter since it fits my Nuna Pipa car seat and since I've found a way to attach the second seat to this, I think I will just remove the straps from the adapter and use it and I like the fact that this adapter allows the stroller to fold up and still be attached to the car, unlike my old one. In addition, the car seat mounts easily with this adapter, and I do not have any issues with it fitting properly on the stroller.
