It would be useful for me to know exactly what the ingredients in grease are, because this stuff looks, feels, smells just like the grease that comes in my old service gun and that I use frequently to service my truck. As when I apply it to a metal surface, it feels exactly the same as when I apply it between my fingers. Honestly, it smells like a truck that's been in the shop all day. A few months ago, I got a big tube from Lowes for $2 cheaper than the price at 3 times the price at Amazon. My dropper was the first to use it and I don't think I will use it for my forks, shock, or shock absorbers. The gray color is also noticeable.

In need of some grease to service a suspension fork on a mountain bike. I have tried other brands such as Slickoleum, Slick Honey, and RockShox Grease and found that they work well. The reason I decided to try this was because it was very inexpensive, as opposed to Color and consistency were the first things I noticed. It has a darker color to it, and it has a better consistency than the typical pale pink. There is a huge difference between this brand and others. Because it is so dyed and so thick, it does not feel right when applied to fork seals or inner suspension parts. Despite being very waterproof, it can be easily wiped off. As a replacement for Slick Honey 16X, I have used it on shock hardware, bushings, and other components, and it seems to work just fine. I recommend it to anyone who does not wish to spend 20+ dollars on the.

It is very light. If you are looking for a lightweight grease, this is good for you. There is not much drag on it, and it flies effortlessly. Despite the fact that it claims to work for anything, my biggest concern is how well it will hold up when soaked. Using a wet towel is all that's needed to wipe it off. I have used a number of other greases in the past and they feel slick even after scrubbing with heavy duty degreasers. Furthermore, it is very bright white, so if you accidentally smear a little bit anywhere, you will be able to see it very easily.

I noticed, and agree with another reviewer, that the color, odor, and consistency of this product seem to be nearly identical to what I have in my grease gun for working on my truck and which costs a whole lot My opinion is that there's nothing more to this.

Rebuilt 1 tube, rebuilt 2 forks, and left with plenty of spare parts. Having this product in 4 oz. size is a nice touch. The tubes (at a reasonable price) are the best option for me since I never use 1 pound of Slickoleum, Sram Butter, Slick Honey, etc.

I have used it on fork rebuilds and it works. The color is black, which I don't like. The method doesn't work as well as the slickoluem method. In the future, I am likely to use only for freehub.

The grease seems to be good for forks. Although I could have kept the fork oil in place when replacing the seals and bushings, I think I would have been better off replacing them with fork oil.

Looks very old, but the dark color makes it look like it was originally made 20 years ago Packed grease is available for purchase. It was cheaper than the other stuff, but it will be hard to tell if it is wearing if it is this color. Just my opinion, but I think I will spend a little more on grease that looks new next time.
