What are the safety implications of using this grease carbon fiber?

Does carbon fiber require grease? What is the purpose of this? It is usually necessary to use friction paste instead of grease for carbon fiber parts. Since carbon does not corrode like metal but can slip in a clamped state, friction paste is required. There are several brands available including Park Tools, Muc-Off, and STI. Those are some of the videos I'm familiar with. There are others too, but I'm familiar with these two.
