Questions & Answers

The Topeak website indicates this is only compatible with XS I have a small bike Is there any way to find out if this will work with a 700c road bike? Customer Service is not responding. ?

This tire is big and I need it serviced I mounted it to the seat post of my bike and it fit perfectly. It mounts to any seat post, so it should fit any bike. The only issue is that you need to raise the seat a couple inches above the minimum to mount it.

Would someone please tell me what the difference between the V type and the A type is. ?

When I tried the V type out on my 29er mountain bike, the rear wheel clearance was terrible. I exchanged it for a type A and wheel clearance was excellent. The information on there website is very clear and good diagrams are provided.

What is the best way to prevent the rack from shifting up and down on the seat post? I would appreciate any tips or tricks you could provide. There are only 5 This page contains seven loaded numbers. Is that okay?

I can tell you no secret. You just need to make sure it's Although it's not necessarily going to shift all the time, especially if you bump It works against you because of the geometry. In order to keep the lever in place, the clamp pressure at the seat post is used.

The bag and rack system is of a high quality
5/5

These bags came in the mail and I received them I have a vintage mountain bike that I have had for 23 years. Though I prefer riding it on paved streets and roads nowadays, I still use it wherever I can. There are gravel paths for bicycles. I use the bike to take the grandbabies for rides as well as to tow the baby carriage. The fact that I can carry some tools, a Yeti thermos, plus things that won't fit in my jersey pocket is great. I like the appearance of the rack. It is level, tight, and it does not move when you are moving it. The fit and finish look good, too. The finish of the bag and its contents It provides a solid mating between the racks and are of top quality.

Customer satisfaction is an important factor for repeat business
5/5

In the past, I've bought two of these, and I'll buy another if this one breaks as well. Although I put my rack through a lot of abuse, I know it won't last forever, but for now it works well. it with the Topeak Pannier Frame it comes with and the saddlebags that come with it. The rear suspension swings back and forth a bit and if the mount is not in the middle, it rubs the tire but it is designed for bikes without rear suspensions that cannot be mounted to multiple points, so it's a reasonable tradeoff.

You have to make sure you get the right one, as it is easy to put on the bike and stays on well
5/5

Despite potholes, bumps, and dirt roads, it stays put, despite being easy to affix to your bike seat post. My e-mail is small but there is an adult on it This bike fits well above the fenders, had to get the "A" shape.

It seems to work well
5/5

Bike commutes are my favorite way to get around The average week's mileage is about 120 miles. It was mounted on a bike I eventually sold that was mounted on a standard mounting MTX Explorer rack. My new road bike does not have braze-ons since then, and I've been searching for a solution to replace the braze-ons Here's to you. It was a miserable experience wearing a backpack. My first bag was a messenger bag, and I My rack is exactly as described and I am very pleased with it. I love how it holds my MTX bag snugly and does a great job. Over the weekend, I remove the rack for those long rides I take for leisure. I highly recommend this book. (I posted the same montage You can get racks of different types. The A- was the first thing I ordered A road bike is not an appropriate fit for this type. ).

This is a fantastic solution for bikes with full suspension
5/5

We have it with the Topeak MTX slide-on bag. It is a great package. Just make sure to stay under the recommended weight limit of 20 lbs due to the stress it puts on the.

The strength and convenience of the product
5/5

I have made three purchases so far. One of my wife's is with my son, mine is with my wife. This is the one I wanted to give my son the day I gave him mine. His commute to work is made by bicycle now he is living in San Diego. Honestly, it works great, and it is very easy to use. If you own one, these things should be kept in mind. A balance should be maintained between the load and the resources. You should not put all 20 pounds in one bag on the side. It has bungee cords that can be tied to the side. Do not tighten the tension when they are not in use. It's essential that the seat post and the rack clamp are cleaned with alcohol before assembling the rack. It will shift from side to side if there is oil or grease on it. This rack is awesome.

I thought it was cool, but it wasn't compatible with my XS bike
4/5

Great product! When properly tightened, the item does not move. It said it would fit smaller frames (mine is XS) and so I chose the A type. My difficulty with using this item with a folded trolley folding basket is that the handle of my trolley folding basket would hit the back of the In case you are short like me (and your seat is too low, the basket & the tray are much lower than what you'd like The bag and/or bag bag may not fit under the seat like it should but will be in contact with the to the E type and I don't have issues with it because it clears the wheel AND sits far enough under the seat that it does not cause any problems with Despite moving around quite a bit while going to the grocery store and picking up groceries, this frame did not pose any issues for me. This is a highly recommended book.
