Selected User Reviews For AerGun X-1000 Bike Pump – Unique AerTight Pump Head for Easiest use with Both Presta and Schrader Bicycle Pump Valves – Pressure Gauge – 160 PSI

Considering the fact that Amazon has a 6 star review system, perhaps once a year we should be able to give the best product we have purchased this year a 6 star review
5/5

It would get a 6 star from me. The humble bicycle pump, of course. At this price point, I think this pump is a great value. I had another bicycle pump that made me think one or more of these things A tire pump is not something I know how to use. Some of the parts on my tire pump are broken. Alternatively, you can do One of my tires is not working. After all, I can easily and quickly get my tires to the desired pressure with this new pump, not only did it take a minute, but the pressure was also stable. Unlike a bike enthusiast or enthusiast of bikes, I am a bike computer, not a bike enthusiast. My bike is my work horse, and I don't want to be required to know more than is strictly When I used my old pump, I felt like I could not get a good connection, and my tire would end up flatter than when This pump is simple to use. I turn it on, flip up the switch, and hit my desired PSI until I am satisfied. Taking it off is as simple as flipping the switch back. That's all there is to Air leakage is not present in any way. Among the advantages There are no cons. As mentioned above, you can read the instructions easily, pump it efficiently and easily attach and remove it from your tire.
It works with all tire types, and it's quick enough to use.
Cons It's not the most attractive shade of green, is it? Unfortunately, I have nothing to offer. In summary I am able to fill my bicycle tires with the desired level of air easily and quickly. This is precisely what I need from it.

Here is a tutorial on how to fix the Presta leak issue, along with a cool pump that I highly recommend
5/5

It used to take me three minutes to pump my tires The workouts were only 5 minutes long, and I was sweating heavily by the end of them. It would be impossible to do it without this pump. It was also my experience that the pump did not seal all the way when trying to fill road tires with Presta valves as others mentioned. When it comes to pumping, I would pump over 100 times to reach just 50 psi (when you need to reach 100 psi! The solution I came up with was as follows It may look tight, so you wouldn't expect it to need adjusting, but the little gray tip on the pump is often tight. As you tighten it, it would move ever so slightly, and it would continue to move for quite some time! Just continue tightening it until you can no longer do so. I then went to use the pump and it worked I believe she had to pump her way to 100 psi in maybe 20 pumping actions.

Guage does not work, and pump doesn't make a secure connection
3/5

It is used to inflate the tires on my road bike. These are high pressure 100-psi cylinders The tires contain presta valves and have a pressure of 120 psi. Although this product is described as compatible with presta valves, it actually does not play well with them. This pump also does not have a pressure gauge, so it is impossible to pump tires to the proper PSI with it. There is not much point to it.

It is effortless
5/5

Reviews are very important to me since there are so many options available. A quality bicycle pump was what I was looking for. I bought my previous pump on impulse at the big orange store. It was all plastic. I had a difficult time pumping tires as the effort was very challenging, the cylinder action was sluggish, and the use of the pump was difficult. The paper was so annoying to me that I threw it away. As I was looking for a metal tube, solidly made, of good connection to the tire nipple, Aregun fit the bill. As a result of the simple procedure, inflating my bicycle tires was an easy task. I was surprised how quickly they were inflated and how easily they reached the An airless connection releases quickly and without a loss of pressure. This is a great product. I'm very happy with it.

A stunning performance that leaves the competition in the dust
5/5

Prior to this, I bought another pump (joe something that blew) which was really bad. There was no way it could lend a valve to anyone. Every time I tried to get the presta valve engaged, I wasted a lot of time. Finally, I bought this one because I was tired of looking at them. There is no pump like this one which gets it right all the time and is by far the best I have ever used. They are superior to others in that their system simply works. The engaging and disengaging of the clutch do not cause air to escape from the tire. Everything This is, to my mind, the standard by which other pumps should be judged. So all types of valves can be covered, and you do not have to switch between one type and another. In the long run, it's easy to use and reliable.

The project lasted four The 16th of July, 2015 marked the purchase of this item
4/5

When I bought mine, I paid $45 for it. This is a broken link in October 2019. The bike is now that old after spending many years outside in my back yard, exposed to weather, and being regularly used (I commute by bicycle). I wouldn't be surprised if my kids "played" with it as well. Now, it seems that the valve no longer has a seal against the head. In my experience, the pump has been good and reliable. It is greatly appreciated that the shraeder / presta valve is automatic. The container will fill up with water if left out in the rain Before you attach the pump to your tire, you should let it sit for a few minutes to dry out any water inside As far as I understand it, all I need is a new pump head, but I am not sure how to procure.

In my review, I'd give the pump mechanism four stars, but the pressure gauge is defective
3/5

The pump works well, and I'd give it four stars if I were to review it alone. I give this a rating of 5. Despite this, I find the pressure gauge to be off by 15 psi, and this discrepancy makes the pump ineffective in my opinion. Due to the lack of additional data, I have no idea what the gauge defect rate is for this product, but I urge you to be skeptical about its quality. You should verify your pressure readings against a reliable pressure gauge if possible.
It is important to have a tire pressure gauge because improper tire inflation poses risks, especially if it is overinflated The inflation rate. An overabundance Underinflated tires are less able to maintain traction, impair road control, and are more prone to blowouts. In addition to transmitting vibration, they can also damage your wrists and spine. * It has never made sense to me why manufacturers would choose to equip a decent-looking bicycle with these things. Pump of high quality with low energy costs This is a gauge of quality. Manufacturing a mechanically sound car that doesn't have a transmission would be like building a car with no drivetrain The headlights are functioning. The pump can be made cheaper if it is geared down. According to some sources, most people don't verify the accuracy of gauges when purchasing these pumps. Although it would be far preferable to shell out a couple hundred dollars for an accurate gauge instead of being chronically ill for days at a time The tires need to be inflated. It is always advisable to be cautious.
