Taiwan is the country where the Stake Hammer is made.
In the end, there is only one. The notch is about 3/8ths of an inch at the very end, and about 1/4 of an inch at the inside curve of the notch at the end.
Compared to a sturdy branch, this is more appealing to me. As a result, this tool can be compared to the back of an ax head. However, it also has a stake removal tool built in. Also, you won't be cut by it like you could be with an ax. As a bonus. The compact and light design is easy to pack, while also providing just enough weight to make the job easier. I urge you to buy it right now- The fact that it simplifies my life as a lazy person will make sense to you.
Hammers of this size are extremely powerful. Personally, I have seen tent stakes driven into very hard ground by it.

Camping is something I do every year for over 50 years and I have never been able to find a lightweight, There are so many things to love about the MSR Stake Hammer. In addition to its compact size, it is extremely sturdy and perfect for driving tent stakes of all kinds. With a 10" steel spike, plastic stakes, standard cheap steel tent stakes, and aluminum stakes, I tested this around our yard. In addition to rocky soil, the stakes were driven into various kinds of dirt. A hammer such as this one handles all kinds of work, even driving plastic stakes into rock I used it to remove the stakes from the ground and it worked really well. In my younger days, I would have loved to have found this stake hammer.
Unlike the tax evading Hammer, this one is actually pretty In fact, it is not a necessity at camp but I enjoy using it more than the backside of the hatchet or any rock at all. Car camping is a frequent occurrence at our house, so I already have a hammer and a mallet on hand, but this fits in the tent bag. So far I have used it on two trips and have been blown away by how good it is at hammering. Although this is probably a 4 star hammer, the bottle opener elevates it to a 5. If I were backpacking, I am not sure if I would include this While it is light for what it is, even if it were made of titanium, it might be more costly than it is I'll always take this with me when I go camping by car.
No, you cannot use it as a You can use it as a tent stake hammer, but do not open your beer with it, for it will crack your bottle neck, as it did mine. I am also a veteran bartender, so if you do not trust me, stay away from it. With this tool, you can hammer stakes into the ground.
You won't find a better steak hammer than this. This week, I used it to pitch my REI Kingdom 6 tent at a camping site for the first time. I found pitching my tent and tearing it down Weight 2. 2 lbs. In terms of the head, it does have weight to it, and the rest of the hammer/handle is quite light and yet still feels sturdy. I'm hammering If you like banging things, then this hammer is the hammer for you! This design is That looks like a cool hammer. The coolest thing ever. I'm going to deal with steaks like this OH, and if you hammer too hard, you might bend the steaks, so be careful, and the thing can make pulling them out pretty easy as well.
Despite its recent arrival, it has been pounding in stakes. Let me tell you, this little hammer will be packed for any adventure that comes its way. Screwing steaks in or pounding stakes, the right thing to do can be done with ease.
This is a staple tool for tent pegs of certain sizes. I used this to drive 8" forged steel tent pegs into rocky soil. I liked it because it was light, and well built. Because of the light weight of the hammer, it's going to take a lot of muscle to drive these types of pegs, so I would have liked it if the head had been heavier. It is true that the head has suffered a few dings from these pegs, but nothing significant. It would be nice to have a lanyard that is long and durable and can serve as a stake puller as well.
The item is heavy just as it should be if it is used to hammer another object. If I have enough space in my tent, I set it up according to the provisions I have with me, and I am not in a hurry to lend it to my weaker friends who wanted to camp but couldn't handle the weight.
In order to affix my canopy to the ground during an event in the park, I use this. often choose to use larger spikes (on really windy days) instead of a standard hammer since such a hammer does not have a wide enough claw for larger There is no hammer for stakes like this one, it has the perfect claw, it is heavy enough to drive into densely packed DG and yet it is still lightweight for carrying around with you.
