Dear Robert, As far as I know, we have not done proper miles per hour tests. But from experience, we have found that stakes set deep in the sand stand up to even The stakes are made of solid hardwood dowels, so the stakes will belong to the ground once they have penetrated the sand deeply enough. If they are deep enough, the stakes will remain until the wind is strong enough to break them off. It is the first time this has happened to me. It would have been better to buy four sections They aren't flawless, but work Sand is too soft to drill with steel hammers, so we use rubber hammers instead.
