The quality of this is far superior to the little blankets we used to use. If you could visualize a space blanket reshaped into a sleeping bag, imagine how much larger and much more comfortable it would be. Due to the three sides being sealed, you can climb inside this thing and get out of the rain, and because it reflects back your body heat, you could even survive a cold night in it if needed. Do I have an actual survival experience with this? Not at all.
