Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if this is waterproof or not?

Easily resistant to water. However, it does a pretty good job of repelling water. On YouTube, you can find Corporals Corner. shows how well the Swagman Roll sheds water in his review.

Is there a limit for how small this can compress ?

By compressing my swagman to 8 inches (20), I can reduce its size by 50%. The height of the child is 7 inches (17 cm) and the height of the child is 32 cm. The width of the rug measures 78cm. Approximately 22 inches (55 cm) are around the circumference of the sphere. The length of the rolled up sheet is 88cm.

In what way does it mean that "the bob backpacks fit perfectly"?

A Helikon pack specifically designed as a bug out bag is available. A 24 hour bag or a day pack of a bit larger size. The fact that it can compress and has multiple uses makes it a wonderful item to put in that bag because you can store it easily. In addition, it would easily cover the area when worn as a jacket.

Can I order this now or when will it be available?

The fact that the product is available attests to its quality, function, and popularity.

The perfect solution to what I needed! My earliest memory of poncho liners is of a Woobie in my pack over a decade ago
5/5

I've since tried a couple of other poncho liner brands. I even tried to have my own design made locally two years ago, but the materials and labor cost me three times as much as the Swagman Roll does. primary reason I carry a poncho liner is because when it is cool and even cold out, I pull it over me when I am resting because the insulation keeps the air pocket I am in Four of us waited all day for an elk to come back out on a park last fall. The 3 guys around the fire continued to stand around it as I lay down and wrapped myself in my poncho liner. As soon as I saw the Swagman Roll and its impressive price, as well as the fact it was weather resistant and could also be zippered into a bag, I decided to buy it. It was not a hard decision for me to make. Everything and even more of what I attempted and failed to design has gone into the Swagman. These are great prices, so I bought a bunch for my hunting friends. I recommend you pick one up, and keep it in the If you sit or rest while hunting, you will feel 100% more comfortable due to the dead air space which is created around you.

It's awesome, but the size doesn't match the item
4/5

The thing is very warm and lightweight, and it also sheds water very well. For the price I paid, this is a really good buy, and I enjoyed using There are a couple of things to consider, however. There is no way that this would fit into the ponchos Helikon makes, but it wouldn't fit into the USGI ponchos. My USGI poncho/poncho liner measures about 6 inches narrower than my issue poncho. It has square ends instead of triangular ends as on the USGI poncho. Therefore, the corners can be toggled into a poncho, but the poncho will be all puffy and resulting in a reduced size, and there are no toggles in the middle or ends, so there will not be a way to secure those My wish is that the hood was constructed from a three-piece construction, and that it was larger as well. I have to wear it like a balaclava because it fits tight around my melon. I will probably give it to my daughter because I think it is a good piece of multipurpose gear that she will enjoy. Despite being so close to a victory, Helikon still still did not cross the finish line, and they still have a beautiful concept, craftsmanship, and materials in their hands. It's just that they didn't quite get the execution right.

I appreciate the smart design, it is worth the price
5/5

If you just called it a poncho liner, you wouldn't have to use a phrase. Despite this, I think the assessment isn't entirely fair. You can choose from a wide variety of camo patterns and it's water resistant in its own right, so it works just as well as an outer garment or a lining. You are effectively doubling your water protection when you use this combined with a poncho. As well as being lightweight and insulating, it is also quite inexpensive. I know it might be a deal breaker for others when it is converted into a sleeping bag, but for me it works great. As an individual with a little bit of a big chest (50 inches), the bag can be a little too tight for my shoulders. To be a little funny about it I suppose that is the only shortcoming for me. However, since this is designed primarily to complement a rain poncho, I realize that there is a size limit, so I don't consider that something to be upset about. You can use a standard rain poncho to go with I'm not going to do it The rest of the functionality is as follows HELIKON's view is stated as follows As a matter of fact, TEX is true. With the poncho form, you can still retain a good amount of mobility while wearing the garment. You don't have to get wet to use it either. It's excellent for camping (or hiding in a hut). In summary, I think this is a great piece of kit, to the point where it should probably become a standard item for most outdoor sportsmen A door activity which is hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, arranging a car, getting the groceries, etc. This add-on weather protection and insulation is unlike anything I have come across before, nor do I remember having experienced with any other article of clothing. In the future, I'd like to purchase another one here in the United States, so I'll surely buy one.

The quality of the product is poor
3/5

The package was received with a few issues. It is incomprehensible to me how they would allow this to pass Red spots can be seen In addition, there are some loose threads and some seams that aren't the straightest. The hood is somewhat small and there could've been a winner if it had been a little bigger and if it had been insulated with Apex Primaloft. Fit is a little tight for me at 6'2" and 230 pounds. There is very little insulation on the roof. For an additional $24. 95, you could get one that has Apex insulation actually rated to the appropriate amount for comfort levels. For the same money, you could get a Kifaru Polario that has proper amounts. It is also difficult to send it back It is still being worked on. What will happen will be seen.

While they are still available, you should grab them
5/5

It was impossible to dislike anything. Prices are high. Nevertheless, having watched the video provided by Military 1st several times and reading many other product reviews that were very helpful to me, I decided that I had made a great purchase. The product has been out of stock for a long time. This is a good indicator of its When it became available again, I ordered as fast as I could. I'm on the way to writing my third book. Thus, companies such as Coyote, Adaptive Green, and Camogram would be within my list of gear to buy once and have forever. The material used is of the highest quality, and they are well Helikon has ponchos that will keep you dry and warm- You are good to go if your jacket is Tex or Mil Tec. The lightweight and portable design allows for easy transportation.

This is a must-have! received my Swagman Roll the other day, and based on reviews from so many others, immediately pressed it into my service
5/5

In the woods of the NW here in Washington, I used the Swagman Roll both as a warming layer and as the lining for my Snugpak Jungle Bag sleeping bag. I used the Swagman Roll while hammock camping at 30 degrees in Washington State and it wasn't a problem for me. I have a Snugpak hammock right now and I am using the Jungle Bag, Swagman Roll, and USGI woodland bivy cover. The underquilt does not need to be done! The amazing piece of equipment is a must have in your kit, and I would never Of note, I was impressed by how quickly I received my Swagman Roll. There is no doubt that it is imported from overseas, and my order states it will arrive between March 15th and April 1st. The 14th of March brought it here! The hiker in this photo is definitely happy!.
