In case you're sleeping outside and don't have one of these, you should probably buy My eyes are now glazed over because I have no idea how people camp without I have slept in literally flooded holes underneath one of these, and it kept my sleeping bag as dry as it was physically possible for me to do in such conditions
5/5

I slept through my waking hours, never feeling guilty for waking up so early before going back to sleep in those The first clue I had that I was in a pond came the next morning when I woke up half submerged (it wasn't a pond when I hit the sack). It happened that one time I woke up with a layer of ice upon my sleeping bag cover. I was able to pull that strange burden from my bivy cover and emerged from the tent still healthy and rested. It is true that people complain about the windy and cold feeling they experience while sleeping in an ENO hammock and spend a ton of money on a heavy under quilt to fix this uncomfortable feeling- There is no need to carry around a large, heavy item that no one uses, you just need an adequate sleeping bag and a bivy cover to fix this problem. It is the outside sleeping equivalent of Batman and Robin. Neither have I ever hiked into anywhere and thought to myself "I sure wish I hadn't brought that bivy cover with me, it's going to be a pain getting it out again. ". That scenario has never ever occurred to me- My bivy cover has never ever been misplaced (once I regretted bringing extra pants). I have experienced this with other items I have brought but never with it. When you sleep outside you should invest in a bivy cover. If you feel like it and would like to be pampered, get one. It is always a better idea to use this item as a cover for your sleeping bag or blanket, as it is almost non-insulative. When paired with a sleeping bag, these sacks are a magical combination of strength and comfort.

Breathes well, packs small and is super light! Bivy bag is super awesome
5/5

The backpack is super strong, very light, and can be folded down small. With no loss of loft, I can fit my winter sleeping bag inside the bivy, as well as my winter sleeping mat. It is a beautiful camo pattern that works well with It's important for me that I keep a low profile (I'm big on keeping low Because it blocks wind very effectively, my bivy bag is terrific at keeping me dry in rain and warm during cold weather. Condensation was not an issue. I ordered a "Very Good" option and it appears to be brand new. On my bag, there is no evidence of wear. There are zippers on the sides, and the velcro on the hood makes life so much easier! That bag is fantastic! I'm so in love with it! I own only one other Bivy, but it is by far my favorite. The snowy/cold winter is just around the corner, and I'm looking forward to using it! The bivy bag is still 100 percent waterproof, and it looks brand new after a few years (I haven't had to add waterproofing to it). It has no signs of damage as well. I love this thing so much! I am jealous of my friends because it takes me less than a minute to set up Tents and hammocks can be strung without the need for guy lines! This bed is easy to use. It measures 10 x 15 feet. I simply lay it down anywhere that I need to sleep. I add my sleeping mat and sleeping pad and I'm There is nothing that seeps through snow, rain, or puddles! Despite being made from leather, this bag breathes well. No matter what time of year it is, I wake up with zero condensation even in the winter! Regardless of how strong the wind is, this thing will block it. A tent doesn't provide the same amount of shelter as this one! Having said that, let me share a couple cons with you that aren't too significant The first thing to note is that this bag does not have netting, so bugs could potentially crawl inside. If you have to sleep on the ground, you can fix this by adding netting to your sleeping bag. A second con is the fact that it can't be propped up without a stick, so when it rains you're limited in how much you can travel. That being said, this bag is suited for use in all types of weather and terrain conditions. Is it even necessary to bring a tent if the weather is going to be nice? Whether it rains or shines, you're going to be in good spirits! A BIG THANK YOU TO TENNIER FOR MAKING THE BEST BIDGEY BAG ON EARTH!.

The Wildland Firefighter Approved Program is here! Unless it is supposed to rain, neither my crew nor I set up tents at camp However, it does not mean you won't wake up soaking wet because on most mornings you will wake up in dew from the dew

It's time to make the switch to this bivy cover. It means that I no longer wake up drenched in a sleeping bag of sweat, and it means that I am able to use my 20 degree sleeping bag in slightly colder weather since It is highly recommended that you try.

The situation has been good thus far
4/5

Buying this bivy cover for backpacking was a good decision. I live in a humid state like Minnesota, so this helps to keep my sleeping bag dry in damp weather conditions, and an average bivy cover can significantly increase sleeping bag ratings by about 15 degrees Fahrenheit. Seeing as I suffer from cold sleep, this will be beneficial to me. It is still useful with a tent, but I could appreciate it in an open-air setting as well When it is raining use it alone OR cover it with a small tarp if it is less buggy. In my backpacking experience, I left the pad and bag inside the bivy bag and rolled up the entire package. I thought it was quite easy to pack. It's also just plain cool to use digital camo.

This software does what it's supposed to do, but it does have some drawbacks
4/5

A high level of waterproofing is provided, and high quality materials are used. During the summer, I use this all the time and it perfectly suits my needs. The problem is that it is a bit constricting in the winter with a medium sized air mattress (thermarest). When it is too cold to sleep on my stomach, I have to sleep on my back or my sleeping bag is compressed and I lose all the It may not be an issue for some people who live in 3 seasons camper's paradise, but for me, in the deep winter of the southwestern mountains, when it gets down to 0 degrees at night, it is not safe to compress my In general, I would say that this is a very good product. Maybe this is too tight for you if you're a winter camper.

On the side of the road, I lost one of my Bivy covers
5/5

During a hike in the wilderness, I lost one of my Bivy covers. My CIF turn in required one, and it was accepted. To make it difficult for them to see it's not a CIF issue, I took sand paper to the label. As for me, I do not have a statement of charges.

The bag inside a bag can be used as a sleep system
5/5

Camo is cool when it comes to modular DIY components. The bag should be lightweight and not too The item should not be bulky or large. This pack contains This item appears to be of a good size. I suspect it will be useful for most applications I might run into * for frosty weather, use a medium budget poly fill bag inside the cover and a wool blanket, if necessary. A basic bivy cover that can be used to create a three part sleeping system. This value is Maybe a little expensive, but I couldn't find a new camo bivy cover that had good reviews, so I went with what I could get on a modest budget for a sleep system.
There has to be a starting point.
