Questions & Answers

The Hello is it designed to be flush with the neck? Is it made to be flush with the neck?

I think most people would find it comfortable to support their neck. Due to the fact that it is air-filled, it is not like a memory foam product. You should choose those with a foam core that fits your head and neck. Let me know if this

If you sleep on your side, how well does it work?

It works just fine for me, I'm a side sleeper too, I use it every night. In order to keep it comfortable, I keep it half inflated.

Do you know anyone who has used this product for neck pain?

This pillow is too noisy for me, even though I do not have neck problems.

I am experiencing difficulty keeping air in my lungs (Updated)
5/5

As soon as I receive my Trekology pillow, I notice that it's leaking. Following the instructions I inflated the pillow (not too full), and after an hour, noting that the pillow was slowly losing air, I removed the pillow. By the end of another hour, the pillow was deflated so much that it was My only complaint about this pillow is that it loses air to the point where I would need to re-inflate it after each use. I love the feel of the material, size and weight but was disappointed that it would lose air so much As you sleep, blow up the balloon a few times. in regards to this issue, and I am hoping to have a response and replacement within the next couple days. A brief update A few days after I emailed the company, I received a reply from the owner. Despite his professional and friendly manner, he was not condescending. The representative apologized for the malfunction of my original pillow and provided two replacement pillows at no charge. As a consumer, how a company treats its customers is just as important as the quality of its products. In addition to the excellent technology, I recommend this company because both of my new pillows are working perfectly. As I mentioned with my first pillow, these pillows have excellent functionality and feel. Thanks Sherman and Trekology for providing quality at an affordable price.

Value

My gang and I have been backpacking/camping for 20+ years in CO and MO without using a pillow, so I'm not in a rush to drop $30 to $35 on a camping pillow Compared with other compact, high-quality pillows, it would be 40 percent less. If I were going to spend this money on something else, I would rather buy something I was tempted to buy the version with great reviews at a great price, but the reviews convinced me that it was worth it. If it was a bet, you wouldn't get what you get. In addition, design According to my research, the new design seems to be more ergonomic than the original, so I'm happy with my choice The upgrade was only a dollar more than the original so I was satisfied with my decision. I think the pillow is a good size. It's small enough that you can probably wedge it into the hood of your bag to keep it in place, but big enough that you could also use it outside of your bag without it squirting out all night long. During the night, the sides help hold your head in place preventing it from sliding off your sleeping bag (which is commonly slippery). Material is smooth and soft to the touch feels comfortable if you are going to use the pillow without any barrier between you and it, but is also not too greasy. A durable product Because I won't be using it for anything other than sleeping/resting, I don't think it would cause me any problems. In this way, you probably save a couple of ounces. The valve is In addition, it has two valves built into it, so you can easily inflate or deflate it. The first valve (one way valve) must be pulled out to fill the tire, leaving the other valve in position to deflate. During cold weather, I have noticed that the valve stiffens (as most plastic does). The valve is not broken, but I was more careful with pulling it out when it was cold in order to avoid breaking it. I like the fact that it is malleable and strong just the way I want it. Although it won't be something you open and close every day, it still is worth mentioning because there's no point in going without it. (See attached valve photo. Inflate closed, deflate open).

Stuff sack There is a small bag for it included with I don't have much to say about it, but I appreciate it. I'll update my review once I use it while backpacking next on my next trip. (Pictured with banana for scale)

A new update was made on 2/27/17. My family and I used this while camping for three nights during the winter and it worked great. It was easy to add more air (as it cooled, it compressed a bit) and the pillow still stayed in place between my slick plastic mummy bag hood and the sleeping pad (I was worried it would squirt out). Despite that, I'm pleased with the product, but I will give a plug to the release valve that is difficult to open in cooler weather (not even cold). This is what I had anticipated when I first There was a multi-tiered process involved The tool to pry out the plug (5th image) was necessary because I was afraid I had to apply more pressure to ruin the pillow if I did not release the plug when it was loosened. This is a frustrating issue, especially since there are valves on the market that do not have this issue and are easy to use. As a result, I dropped a star.

I didn't fall in love with it, but the quality was great
3/5

After reading all the rave reviews, I bought this on a whim. It seems like a good idea to me since I go camping and backpacking a couple of times a year. The first thing I thought of when I saw this was that it would probably be an improvement over my usual pillow (a pile of clothes). The problem is that though I really wanted to like it, I was just unable to connect with it. A three-night camping trip is the perfect opportunity for me to give it a try. When I sleep, I like to be able to throw my arm under my pillow (or pile), and this thing doesn't seem to allow me to do that (even if I let out some The support was great, so it would probably be better suited to someone who just likes to sleep on their back. PROS

- All it takes is a teeny stuff sack. - It is easy to blow up (5 big breaths and it's filled)
When you inflate the tire, there is a button that prevents air from escaping while you are doing it. - I highly recommend this mattress. It is extremely supportive and comfortable. It's a nice size, but has the following disadvantages If you want to sleep with your arm underneath it or if you want to cuddle it, it is too stiff.

It offers perfect comfort and excellent customer service
5/5

I bought it to use on my frequent trips. The original plan was to give this hotel a 5 star rating following my first stay (6 nights). I appreciate how easily it fits in my luggage and how comfortable it is to wear. I liked the ease of use and the fact that it folded down when I wasn't using it. As I mentioned earlier, I covered it with a pillow case. There were no visible signs of damage. I went over it all to make sure there was nothing wrong. There is a slow leak coming from the valve, I think. This pillow is beautiful in my mind, but in reality, it does not hold up to frequent travel and use, so I have given it a 2 out of 5. With the second pillow, you get the best of both worlds a pillow that holds air well, a pillow that's comfortable as well as portable. Perfect! Could not have asked for a better experience! This seller was very quick to respond to my issues and is sending me a replacement pillow as soon as possible. When I receive it, I shall try out this new one for a couple weeks, after which I will reassess my rating.
