Questions & Answers

It looks like this is Can you tell me which blade is the 5 inch ?

A blade of 4 inches if you select Large, a blade of 5 inches if you select Small. In the case of X- 5, select 5" A large size

Does the blade play a role?

It is a very small amount. A lot of knives have been in my possession, but this is surely my favorite!

Do you like the look of the blade? Is it high-polished and shiny?

Metal is shiny, so it's a pretty neat looking object. What kind of finish does it have? There is no.

There are many reviews of this knife in which users say they cut themselves shutting the blade. Could you please suggest some safety tips for a first time user straight out of the box?

You should grip the blade so that your index finger is as close as possible to the bottom of it. As a result, you do not cut yourself but rather the finger rests on the non-sharp part.

I am very pleased with the result
5/5

It is not my usual practice to write reviews, but, in this instance, I felt I had to convey my experience. Since I first became a customer of Benchmade, I have become passionate about Spyderco. Although Cold Steel is a brand, I didn't think its quality was up to the two previously mentioned brands' standards. My view of things has changed in the past year. Over the last 12 months, I have purchased five Benchmade knives and one Spyderco knife. I couldn't flick out the blade on the Spyderco because it was so tight. There were issues with four of the five Benchmades, such as uneven knife grinds, blades not as sharp as they should be, and a tool came missing a handle Benchmade seems to send out such a lot of garbage, so I wondered why it does it? It is their job to do this. One issue every now and then is understandable, but it became a point where I was afraid to order a Benchmade, knowing that chances were I would receive a knife with a problem. I present to you While watching Cold Steel a video on Youtube, I stumbled upon this. In this review, the Cold Steel Voyager with the new ASTM AUS 10A steel is reviewed. With the Axis lock, the reviewer is able to pull the blade out with his thumb as he did at the beginning of the video. After spotting my eyes widening, I was fascinated and watched the rest of the video. There is a 4 inch blade on the Cold Steel Large Voyager, and you can choose either a clip point blade or a In addition to its looks, the clippoint blade was very functional. A total of $46 was paid. Compared to the Benchmade Griptilian, I think this is less than half the price. Regardless of whether or not it works out, I won't lose too much money, and I'll be able to judge for myself just how good or bad it is once I hold it in my hand. My intention was really just to do my own little review of the knife, in order to be at peace with it. My order was fulfilled by Amazon, and I received a Cold Steel Voyager Larger Despite being extremely sharp, the knife did not have any missing screws, and the blade was evenly I tried to flick the blade open with the thumb stud, and I was able to do so, but not as easily as with an Axis lock griptiliian. In my correspondence with Cold Steel customer service, I explained to them that I had seen a video where the reviewer had been able to open it It was suggested that I open the blade 90 degrees and leave it there Over the next week, I opened my blade 90 degrees and left it on my desk. This time, I gave it another try after a week. This is amazing. It is amazing what a difference there is. As easy to open the blade using the thumb stud as an Axis lock, I am unable to do this. By pressing the back lock, I can close the blade almost with its own weight as the blade slides open completely. He pivot is made up of bronze and Teflon washers. There are three main groups Knives with an Adlock have one of the strongest locking mechanisms on the market. The blade on my Voyager is nearly impossible to move, despite the fact that I can easily flick it open and closed. As far as I can tell, the tension of the pocket clip is the only negative. Despite its tight fit, the pocket clip does not break easily. Getting out of this kind of situation isn't easy From my pocket, I took the clip. Approximately half the time, I don't use the clip, but rather drop the Voyager into my pocket. This Cold Steel Voyager has exceeded my expectations in every way. I would like to point out one more thing During another video review of Cold Steel's AUS 10a steel, the reviewer conducted rope cutting tests to see whether edge retention was possible. A reviewer stated that AUS 10a from Cold Steel held an edge for longer than that of D2, 154 cm, and VG- according to his testing. The steels in question are "standard" steels produced by another company. Cold Steel is free to try, so what are you waiting for? You can get it for There is nothing better than having $00 in my pocket.

I have a big Added a Spartan to my knife collection at the same time as this Voyager XL
5/5

In comparison to my Spartan, the Voyager is significantly more comfortable in my large hand. My favorite feature is the easy 1 hand operation, which allows me to open and close with one hand. on this Voyager XL is much easier to operate than that on We returned the Spartan as it was uncomfortable to me and much heavier than we had expected. Instead, we purchased an additional Voyager XL in the clip point blade instead. *By the way. Quite conveniently, it fits in the right front pocket of my shirt, I wouldn't use it full time, but it could easily substitute for my EDC. It needs to be adapted with a pocket clip mod as it is a bit aggressive on jeans etc. * Oh, it can be flipped open without the thumb stud in an aggressive action with a wrist. As promised, it is also an AUS 10A. The pictures represent some of my knives they can be used as a comparison for size. These are, from top to bottom a Voyager XL tanto, a Spartan, a CRKT Hootenanny, a Benchmade Loco 808 and a Ganzo G753. Here is just a small sample of the other pictures I have, but you can see how large this Voyager XL.

This blade is epic and cool
5/5

There is a lot of reach with this giant folder, and there is plenty of room for the handle and grip. Although it's very thick, the tanto blade is razor sharp even at its tip. The blade makes my recon 1 tanto look skinny, and it's beastly thick blade makes my recon 1 tanto disappear into thin air. While it is a big knife, it can fit in your pocket quite easily. I highly recommend this knife for yard work because it is solid, rugged, and sturdy, but won't break the bank at just $57. This is a tool that someone could take on a hike because of its weight, thickness, and lock strength that allows it to be used for the following chopping, prying, digging, etc. Although it may be used for things like opening, brush clearing, etc. , for most people it will just serve as a cool curiosity to show off to your friends. In either case, it doesn't seem like much to invest in such a beefy, durable, and I'm in love with may purchase a few more blades in different configurations in the future. I did not have the privilege of studying steel, but I have heard and read about aus10 (10a) steel very similar VG is my favorite video game It is on my delicas list at 10. If it needs resharpening frequently, I don't mind as long as it won't chip or break easily. I care more about wear resistance than toughness, so if it needs resharpening frequently, I don't mind. In my opinion, 10A steel is solid enough especially when the blades are this thick. There is no way for me to tell how long the original will remain sharp. There have been cases on YouTube where people have beaten up these knives in an ugly way and they didn't This is what I desire in a large blade, a blade with It's awesome. For those of you who love large folding knives, thick blades, and reasonable prices, you should get this knife.
