The answer is no! The bag has a fill line. You fill the pouch with water, close it, and prop it up against a rock. There are instructions on the pouch that tell you everything you need to know. Usually a veterinarian is required.

Selected User Reviews For MREs (Meals Ready-to-Eat) Genuine U.S. Military Surplus Assorted Flavor (4-Pack)
Everything went according to plan
MREs with genuine serial numbers. In the first place, I want to say how fabulous the guy is that dropped this stuff off at 10 I never knew what sort of shipping service they used, so thanks for dropping it off. This is 8pm. Here is where the good stuff starts. From the 8 that I got, I got a good mix. The majority of the boxes were packed in 2015, while others were packed in I have never heard anything like this before. A year like 2015 is quite young in the MRE era. I would start asking questions about menus that are more than two years old, but these guys seem to have items that are quite new. There were no damages to any of mine. br>These are real military MREs with important components, as well as genuine military. Usually, it contains an entree, a snack, crackers or tortillas, spreads or jam, a dessert and a packet of drinks as a side. You can get a tortilla in place of crackers or wheat snack bread if you do not get crackers or wheat snack bread. They are some of the most delicious and filling things you'll ever eat. Considering how high the calorie, sodium and sugar levels are in these types of food, I highly recommend eating them if you do not exercise regularly My personal preference is to have these on hand during an emergency. Irrespective of the choice, this is military food, not Gordon Ramsay prep Made meals for the family. There are some good, and there are some bad, and the seller is not to blame for either. There's nothing fancy about it. It's just military food. Nonetheless, everyone's taste varies. As a tip, if these choke you up, eating 4 chiclets from the accessory packet will act as laxative. br>br>Alright, to get the unpleasantness out of the way first If the bag has the tag "Commercial Sale Is An Illegal" on it, neither you nor the seller are affected. The military personnel to whom it was issued were affected. In addition, this is their free ration, they cannot be held accountable for selling it or selling it without permission . The only thing wrong with GIFTING it is losing that sense of generosity. You might be able to legally go around this by collecting some cash after your birthday as a "birthday gift". So long as you do it that way, it's legal. As a whole, I would rate it a 10/10. According to the plan, everything has gone smoothly.

We've ordered the MREs three times from different places, and each time we've received a different one. I watch Steve1989MREInfo videos with my granddaughter, and she's been offering to try MREs ever since. It's a nice feeling when you unbox the MREs (which my granddaughter loves to do), and she consumes them over a limited period of time. Having good taste, enjoying fun, and getting good value for money is important.

This MRE is perfect for me
Here's the review for the MRE menu #2
This set included pepper jack cheese spread, spicy black beans, 2 flour tortillas, fruit punch mix, coffee mix, MRE spoon, and various packets of salt, sugar, creamer, cinnamon gum, etc. The There was no bad taste - everything was fresh Although the tortillas were still bendable and the gum was soft, it was still Less ration heater) worked fine, heating the main (beef) in about 8 minutes. This was a fine shredded beef dish with a non-sweet BBQ sauce the beef tasted fine and the sauce wasn't too smokey or sweet- Just the way I wanted it. On the tortillas, the cheese spread with jalapeno and cheddar was good. I liked the oatmeal cookies because they were soft and tasted fresh, and the cinnamon added a nice touch. It was spicy enough that the black beans in spicy sauce had the right amount of heat. There was just a touch of firmness to the beans, rather than the mushy texture I expected. My favorite MRE would be these again in a heartbeat. I have edited the article so that it is clearer. There were four MRS packages in my order and I received two of these BBQ beef meals, one spaghetti meal, and one beef stew package. My experience with the spaghetti and beef stew MREs has not yet been as positive.

Although the meals are up to date as published, half of the FRH's in my room were duds
Of the four, one didn't do much more than mix water and made it a little warmer than outside. Of the two that did, one kept me warm. I found the last two to be perfect. There was a possibility that the two were affected by different storage conditions and one of the snack breads had gone stale and was covered with The picture was never taken without a phone on a cliff.

It's disappointing that the options available are so few
Based on other reviews, and the fact that they looked like some of the flavors offered would be appealing to me, I was hopeful they offered something I would like. As far as the lobster chunks go, I received them and they were not seasoned and they were white chicken chunks - there was no The two items I received were also beef stew and sausage patties, which both did not seem These meals will be strictly for emergencies only, not taken on camping trips as I do not eat tuna (the company is not to blame for that) and I hear chicken is less than desirable. Also, I rated 3 stars due to the fact that my package did not come with anything other than the food itself, but other customers got some sort of heaters and utensils. wasn't supposed to receive heaters or utensils and I don't receive them, then I'll adjust.

I enjoyed these very much
Three days before it was supposed to arrive, the package arrived intact. I enjoyed these very much. Three days before it was supposed to arrive, the package arrived intact. I found all of the pouches in excellent condition, and all of their contents were included as well. The dishes on these menus certainly filled me up despite being a small woman, who does have a heartier appetite than many people would guess For the sake of working on the snack and extras throughout the day, I separated them from the main and side dishes. Even these were enjoyable for me – I'm not a huge fan of sweets and desserts It was also great to have berry cobbler for dessert. One of the jerky snacks I received was the only item I didn't like in all four menus I received That depends on the preference of each individual.
If you're worried about weight (for instance, if you're heading out on a hike or camping trip), the MREs will be heavier than freeze dried meals. In addition to this, the meals are also more flavorful and hearty than most freeze dried meal pouches. It is definitely worthwhile to consider carrying a mixture of freeze dried pouches for the low weight and MREs for the large caloric content and relatively hearty and wholesome Having just ordered a full case of the B Menu after trying out MREs for the first time, this was my first experience with them.
