For the first time I used it, I cleaned it in a lemon juice/baking soda/water solution and rinsed several times. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. In comparison with my Camelpak, this pak is better.
In southern Montana, we hike in the mountains, where it's about 3 degrees celsius all year round I spent four hours on the phone

There are approximately 6" of width x 8" of depth in the top pouch.
I find it comfortable and it holds up Several people complain about the taste of plastic and the leaking of the device. It will not taste bad if you properly clean it and use some lemon juice and baking soda. have found that the bladder doesn't leak when it is suspended properly. You have a tendency to leak the bladder if you just drop it in. There was an error in the user interface. Previously, I took a photo of how I carry this everyday, and it has worked perfectly for me. In addition to the gloves and knee pads, I usually keep them hanging off of it. **This is an amazing bag and I would absolutely recommend it and buy it * * I've added an admin pouch to the rear (thank you molle) so I can carry my poncho inside under the zipper flap, while I can tuck my jacket into the straps on the back for adjustment. A lot of stuff was packed into this bag and it still held up well!.
In addition to a survival whistle molded right into the clip of the sternum strap, this hydration pack is well made and well designed. The backpack has two zippered compartments on the back that are large enough to fit most daily necessities (phone, wallet, keys, first aid kit, snacks, toilet paper, pistol, GPS, etc. ) but not so large that it becomes a bulky bag. There are two of them. There is a 2 kg weight difference between 5 liters of water. The equivalent weight for five kilograms would be five. It weighs just 5 pounds, and it's positioned close to the back so that it can be carried comfortably while minimally impacting balance while active. A baffle is built into the water bladder to prevent rapid weight shift when it is moving. It is easy to fill up the bladder first with ice cubes and then top it off with cold water due to the large opening on the bladder. In the event of the hose being unplugged, the hose outlet on the bottom of the bladder does not leak. Getting the large opening at the top of the bladder to align correctly is a little tough (gets easier with repetition) and requires a reasonable amount of hand strength, but the bladder was absolutely waterproof. Insulation plays a major role in the efficiency of this home. In addition to being very tough, the bladder pouch' reflective lining is very light. When used in normal circumstances, even though there is only 1/8" of flexible closed cell foam insulation behind the reflective cover, ice water retains its cooling properties for about four hours. Construction materials and techniques are at the same level as those used by It's nice that there is not a large goofy logo on the packaging. The hydration sack I'm using is my first. It's not clear to me whether I will like carrying water on my back and sucking on a watering tube like a gerbil, but if I don't like this hydration sack, I doubt I will like any of the other options.
The price is very reasonable compared with other brand names, and the product The tactical-looking hydration pack I found was gray, rather than camo or beige. I followed the instructions of prepping it for the first time by soaking it in warm water + lemon juice and did not notice any plastic aftertaste or odor. It keeps the water cool for several hours (with my Camelbak insulated water bottle, it heats up far before that time). The two pockets are perfect for keeping keys, a cell phone, various snacks, sunscreen, and bug repellent in one place. In general, I am very pleased with the purchase and have already recommended it to my friends who are considering.
