For square bars, I got the ones I ordered. To fit my aero style bars, I had to modify them.
While I am in no position to answer your question with certainty, I do have a 14' Hobie Pro Angler, and it flattened these saddles you asked The money I spent on them was wasted. I have done a pvc pipe design similar to the ones you see on YouTube people use for Thanks! I hope you find this helpful.
It is true. There is no doubt in my mind. Those are the wheels I use for my Native Slayer, which is 34 wide by 13 long and weighs 110 pounds. However, I must add that on my trailer I also have a set of Yakima Rollers at the back, so I have three points of support instead of The slots for the straps are helpful, as they allow the kayak to be quickly tied down.
As you can see in the photograph, the wing comes with hardware. Due to the rounded shape of the Yakima bar, it can be difficult to get a good Vice grips can be used to tighten the wings, but the wings still tend to move when I tighten them. While this is the best solution for transporting my 100 pound plus Hobie Oasis, I am hoping to find something better (most other racks are for loads much less than 100 pounds.

It was very secure (for 3 hours) with the two (2) provided straps and some front and rear (550 cord) tie downs. I cannot comment on heavier kayaks like the 120 lb Hobie, but it carried my modded 100lb Seaghost 130 very well. Due to my cross bars being so close together, it was necessary to install tie downs in front and in the back. I arrived just as the load was still solid at 65 mph and the speed had decreased a bit. A secure base for your kayak is provided by the wings, which are slightly flexible. A good feature for this kayak carrier is the hood and trunk tie down straps, which can be closed in the hood and trunk to provide cord attachment points. I highly recommend it.
A Malone Seawing I own for my 65-inch television I have a SOT fishing kayak that weighs 35 lbs and I like it. In the past, I've bought two bigger and heavier kayaks, so I felt like this kayak carrier option would be a great option for my larger and heavier I was thankful to see the Malone Megawing, which seemed to be just what I needed! That's not happening. It is important to note that the Megwing is barely They're all much wider than earlier, lighter kayaks, since the current SOT fishing kayaks are large, heavy, and heavy. My Perception Striker 11 has the same problem. (It is only 55 pounds and only 11 feet long. A 5 kayak is not exactly long. 5) is 33" wide while the Megawing is only 27". It is too wide for this kayak, so it can't be used. This is my field and this is what I do It is even wider than that on the Stream Shadow Caster kayak. My ignorance of the Megawing model makes me confused as to what it is supposed to do. Wide kayaks support more weight than lighter ones, yet despite the fact that the Megawing can hold more load, it isn't actually wider. In terms of kayaks larger, heavier, and wider, Megawing is not really suited to them. If Malone made wide kayak carriers with wings, I would love it. The product has been returned.
Upon tightening the clamp, a crack appeared in the rubber on the bottom. I don't think they will fit my 15 foot sit on top The grips aren't nearly wide enough, and they bend like recurve bows under the weight of a 90lb arrow. own half a dozen kayaks and wanted something that was specifically made for larger SOT boats for my more experienced paddler. It is most definitely not what these are claiming to be. Once I had my test load completed, I went to unload the kayak and found that the wing flex had caused it to It's not as sturdy as a fifty dollar jhook, so avoid it if you have a really big sitting kayak.
My old J-card was being replaced by this one Carry a kayak on this style of As a kayaker, I own a Hobie Mirage Oasis tandem kayak. It is an awesome kayak, but it is incredibly heavy. I mounted mine to my J-80 I did not like the way it wobbled too much. A J cradle part on the side of my kayak also put quite a bit of pressure on it. As well, I began to notice that the cradles were beginning to dent. The saddle style seemed to be the best option. It cost me a lot of research before I bought it. I am glad I decided to get one because it was easy to install and my heavy kayak feels very secure now. It is the only complaint I have that I wish it had a lock on the nuts. You can only tighten the nuts so much by hand. It never fails that I have to tighten them just a bit more each time I go out on a long drive or go If only there had been a locknut to fix this, it would have been much better. Maybe we'll have to drop by the hardware store to pick that up.
My kayak worked well in the cradle and it held up nicely through a 4 hour drive on a windy day. The installation process is easy as well. The reason I only gave two stars is because this is the first time that I've used it and the rubber covering the metal part has completely worn away. For the unit to be reinstalled, two screws were screwed into and unscrewed from Place the ad in the appropriate place. It had been over a month since I could return it, so unfortunately I'm stuck with it.
My Old Town Canoe Topwater 106 is an Old Town Canoe. As a wider kayak user, I am unable to use the Mega Wing with confidence. Throughout the day, my kayak moves all over the place. My kayak is not restricted by extra tie downs, and it still moves. Using this paddle with my narrower kayak is not a problem at all for me.
The big fishing kayak is easy to load and unload with this cart. If you don't select the right screw length when installing the mounting brackets, it can scratch the roof of your car if you don't line them up appropriately.
It provides a great deal of stability for my heavy kayaks and is really easy to use. This increases the surface area of the kayak in order to reduce stress and eliminate plastic distortion in heat and during travel.
