Please let Thule know if you have any questions. Carbon Frame Road Bikes and Mountain Bikes with high end, light weight carbon frames are really the only bikes with these. E-mails are not so much of a concern There are bicycles.

My frame will be protected by this, according to the Thule website. It will be interesting to see how she holds up over time. Rather than an option that can be lost or forgotten, I'd rather see something like this built into the carrier.

In the end, it was not as helpful as I thought it would be. My carbon fiber bike arrived in perfect condition today, after traveling with it for a while. Apparently, the "frame protector" twisted and slipped down into the clamp on my rack, leaving a bit of my frame exposed. My frame was scratched even after I wiped down both the clamp and the protector. I now see a scratch on my top tube that would not be there if I had used painters tape as soon as I started riding.

There is a problem with the adapter, as it does not secure firmly to the bike frame, so I have to stop several times while driving to accommodate the bike and the adapter.
