The Saris rack is the best trunk-mount rack I have used with my carbon $3,500 bike. The straps are sturdy but not rough, so I would trust them more than others. Although I use my roof rack a great deal, I personally prefer the way it looks. There is potential for scuffing on a carbon bike because of the glossy finish. As a final note, the Saris has a good middle range So the bike doesn't swing much, the frame holds it in place. The main top tube will be less likely to wear out that way.
There is no spoiler on the SE Toyota Camry I own, and the bike rack is fine. Because the design of the rack makes the rack compatible with the spoiler, you should have no problems using it.
I think so. The strap can be adjusted quite a bit.
Without a doubt. I am confident that it can hold my wife's mountain bike without a problem.

A good product with some pros*- Here are 3 points for strapping There are two on the top tube and one on the bottom tube - The aluminum core of the structure makes it durable. Please do not overburden the rest of the body. - Easily fastened to the trunk
- Easily mounted and fastened to the trunk I like the design when it's unfolded and when it's folded as well. The device does not occupy a lot of Support arms that can be adjusted to the frame's shape give you the flexibility you want. The arms can also be altered to fit the height of a bike, so that it isn't too low or too high. It is possible to open the trunk without any obstruction if you have the arms open or folded and do not need to touch the glass after opening the trunk. It is no longer necessary to polish the rubber feet as they work well. So far, I have used the bike rack only 2 times, and I have driven 60 miles on it with my bike on, and there is no vibration or loosening. Be careful and protect the area around the metal clamps of the straps that could make contact with the car's body when vibrating. In order for excess straps not to fly loose, they should be secured somehow, otherwise they can be easily ripped off- There does not seem to be much strength in the plastic screws used to tie the supports together. In addition, the straps to hold bikes do not have a toch finishing, so they may scuff the paint on the frames. bracelets with rubber straps In addition, the straps that hold the rack in place are not convenient to use, as there are six points to fix every time. In the absence of anything holding the steering tube and wheel, the steering tube will freely rotate. Straps with a look )On the Ford Fusion trunk, there are dedicated holes for the hooks on the bottom of the trunk (At least I believe that's their purpose)
Easy.
My 1 month old 2018 Santa Cruz Blur CC Reserve floated in the wind as I surveyed it in the rearview mirror. In order to get to the side of the road, I had to cross ***** - There was a problem with the heavy duty ratcheting strap on the driver's side, which had broken in half at the T-connector. On the support arm, there is a point that is shaped like a triangle- In an instant the bike twisted backwards on that side and the main gear ratchet strap on the other arm came unstuck therefore, the machine had to be towed to the nearest park. The freeway is littered with bike parts and damaged cars, which would have led to $9000 worth of broken bits of metal. I have a cable affixed to a bike lock that has been run through the horizontal tube on the Saris and around the frame, which is fortunate for everyone involved. You should be aware that the entire Saris mounting on the bike has disappeared. There could have been a total disaster only if this cable had been present. The following photos illustrate the situation The left side of the break-in strap is shown in photo 2. A portion of the T broke off from the other side A channel for a photo On the passenger's side, there is a T-shaped bump I am channeling. Straps were torn off and are no longer there because they were torn. There may have been a freak accident here. There is no way for me to know. I would have assigned it a 1 if it had not been for this horrible experience overall The review has been given five stars.
Its arms are too short for a bike. Installing it is too difficult, it comes fully assembled, and it looks good. On my car (a Hyundai Genesis), the side clamps are largely ineffective, the bottom clamps only work when stretched to the front of the trunk lid (see photo), and the compression clamps adhere to my trunk (i. e. It is inevitable that one will get scratches). In addition, the arms are not long enough so the back of the car will be scratched by any bike mounted close to the We may try to mount it on another in the hopes of getting.
Racks with horizontal crossbars are an ideal choice for small kids' bikes, but these aren't the best for adult bicycles. In most cases, hybrid, dirt, and cruiser bikes have a downsloped cross bar if you do not use a bar adapter such as the Swagman, then the rack will not balance the bike and the rear wheel will hit the ground high. Furthermore, the bars are close together (for small bikes), but do not provide much support for large bikes in the side to side direction. Additionally, I had to remove a pedal from one of the bikes, as it would have damaged the front end of the vehicle It is difficult to attach, tighten and loosen the plastic straps, and one of the bottom straps is turned in an odd direction. To protect the car, I had to add shock cords and a foam pad. There is no way to secure the rack and bike to the car except by looping the lock through the car's tow hook. The only thing that holds the rack to the car are the six nylon straps. It is impossible to open the trunk lid once the rack is in place. When you pop the lid, the bikes have to be removed from the rack in order for the lid to close. This product comes with the following good features The smallest part of it is when it's As well as being light in.
