Questions & Answers

Does the 4 bike rack have the ability to be reassembled as a two bike rack when necessary?

In the past, I have used the 4 bike configuration (needed for special occasions) but now I use a 2 bike configuration that works perfectly, and is slightly more comfortable, easier to park, and probably saves a little There are 2 bolts, plus the little reflector needs to be moved.

The 4 bike rack reaches from the back of the hitch to the face of the rack, but how long does that rack measure?

Bikes can be parked on the rack in a space of about 5 inches when it is fully extended.

Would I be able to use this setup with 3 Rad runners and 1 Rad Rover 5? I appreciate it. ?

The 4 Rad rovers and one Rad city were all on the back of my truck during our cross-country Throughout the whole process, we had no issues. If you are fixing your bike on the rack, do not forget to lock it. It would be a good idea if you- The Rads, which come with locks to prevent theft, are a popular choice for bike thieves.

In the U.S., a bike can carry a maximum load of 60 pounds. My Radrover5 ebike can carry 69 pounds. Is it strong enough to hold your material?

My understanding is that it is unofficially the case. The construction of this item is excellent. It is made of heavy gauge material that makes it extremely durable.

The quality of the material is very good

The bike rack we assembled took about two hours to put together. You may be able to do it sooner. If you want more than the cheap wrench tools included in the package, you will definitely need to purchase them separately. The least you should have is an ordinary crescent wrench and screwdriver. It only takes two or four bikes to make up the basic configuration. It was a 4 bike extended version that we ordered. You can ride two loops on each bike The front tire will have two and the back one will have two. In order to slide 4 pictures, place 2 on the inside and 2 on the outside of the Two sliding padded loops slide up and down between the two bikes and loop over the horizontal bike tubes on a post between the two bikes. I have some pictures for you. As long as you only have three bikes (as we do), then you only need six tire loops, so ours looks like it is made specifically for a three bike carrier, but it is really the four You can also remove the two bike extension, which would then reduce the number of bikes you can carry to two. This device can fold up and rest on the back of our car or extend down and away from the vehicle. The question is asked whether or not you can open a trunk loaded with bikes and so on while it is still installed. Yes, I am sure you could do it. Despite this, however, the rack's weight is enormous even when it is The bike would be so heavy that you would have to be a superman to move it. As a practical matter, if your car is loaded with three or four bikes, you won't be able to get to the back. The rack has a key lock for the pin that connects the rack to the car, so I really like that feature. Who knows, I can see someone driving past and unclipping a rack and tossing the bikes into the back of a pickup and chucking them in. You might be able to prevent a fast grab and snatch using this lock. Hammer and pry bar may not be able to lift it. In addition to the sliding loops, they have a key lock to secure the bikes to the stand. This will prevent people from taking your bike, but it is not going to prevent a determined criminal from taking it. As a result, I found the padded loop to slide down far enough to accommodate a woman's style step-in We'll have no problems fitting our eBike tires on this rack, even though they're a little fat. Despite the fact that the four eBikes we use are all 45lbs and weigh between 4 and 8 pounds together, they still sit solidly Except for hauling around over 200lbs of bikes and metal protruding out of the back of your car, there isn't much negative other than the obvious headaches that are associated with hauling bikes around. What I think is the worst part of this rack is that it's going to be difficult to remove There is a solid screw that connects the bolt to Taking out the bolt is going to be challenging because it is non-slip silicone. In order to secure the stands to the car and prevent rattles, they are securing the brackets There's just a shame that it's going to be so tough to put on and take It already appears that the nut has wear and some rounding after just tightening it for the first time. I've put it on and off 20 times already, what will it look like after that? There's something specific to my car that you have to watch out for One of the features on my Hyundai Sante Fe is a power lift gate. I will hear a beeping sound and then the hatch will open if I loiter around the back of the car. I would bang my bikes into the hatch once they were loaded. My memory won't let me disable that feature, so I'll have to do that later. The Rack is the best sub $300 model for a heavy duty bike rack that can hold heavier bikes. Once you reach the $500+ price point, there are probably better racks, but for the sub $300 range, this is the best rack.

You might want to try something A heavy and bulky four bike rack was purchased and it turned out to be way too In the past few months, I've returned it after my return was approved, but I have never heard from them About a month after I was supposed to receive my refund, they told me it had been assembled and damaged so they wouldn't give me the refund
3/5

All fairness to me, I shipped it back in its original packaging since I used it and threw out the packaging, It was nowhere stated that the items had to be boxed up again in the return instructions. It was not me that they contacted. I don't think they kept my money or my Are we supposed to be ok with $400 being out of pocket? What is the law in that situation? Pictures below are photos of the rack they sent me back, which they claim was damaged (those are photos of the rack they sent me back). It is not even clear to me what damage the claim is. This picture of a polar bear in a snowstorm was taken by me during a blizzard, so maybe we all can get away with it. It appears that there is no phone number listed for the In the end, you're on your own if you don't like something. It's possible that Amazon will step in, but it's also possible The worst thing about these guys is that they I would like to conclude my review of the company. Here is a boat anchor that makes a bike rack The wheels of this bike weigh more than the wheels of all four bikes I have
In terms of security, there are only 2 locks because theoretically, if you lock the top hook, the hook that holds the bike on the bottom hook cannot be moved. There is a way for them to move the trays in which the wheels sit so that they can pull the bikes out, so security is a hassle just as much as the company is. Fix is easy, bring your own lock and don't rely on cheap crap to keep your expensive stuff safe. * Storage - a collection of files If you have a shed or an area of wall you aren't using much, then I hope you have it. If it slides down the wall and lands on the rim of your kid's front tire, it will bend the rim. At least no feet were hurt. It needs to get hooked up to something, otherwise it may cause damage. On the plus side, the back hatch was useless when it flipped up. I just removed it, since the hatch was useless when up.
Even with this design, there is room for improvement by adding wheels under the 4th bike position in order to reduce tongue weight (some engineers miss the obvious), or selling it only in two If you do decide to buy this beast, remember there are plenty of other racks on the market that may cost a little more, but the company provides a customer service number you can call that will assist you if there are problems. Moreover, they are lighter than the other racks and are shorter, making them easier for one person to handle. If this rack is not good, then go find one from another reputable manufacturer. If it isn't good, there are plenty of others out there. You should consider the weight and size of the wheelchair, and see if it flips up and is easy to store because this one does not.

A very heavy duty rack that will hold a bike that weighs 60 pounds with no problem
5/5

Please note that I have a full description of the video on my YouTube channel if you want to see it. Please search for my name on YouTube. This hitch comes with a locking pin that has an anti-theft mechanism An internal rattle mechanism is built into the hitch, and there are two locking holders to protect There are only two locks on the four Holders, and I would like all 4 to have them. I still find the rack to be very useful. At the time I purchased it, it was also the cheapest fat bike rack that could hold a 60-pound bike. Generally speaking, I'm pleased with the rack, and I suspect it will serve me well for many years to come.

It is pleasing to the eye

The following are some main points I wish to share, which I did not realize until I examined the sale page in depth. I must mention*br We offer a bike rack that can be customized for a wide variety I must mention*br You can easily switch from four bikes to two bikes with the four bike I must mention*br Despite the best efforts of the shipping company, the reflector was damaged during As it turned out, there was another I must mention*br I had no problem assembling this product. The way each box of bolts was labeled over the course of the build instructions was also a great feature. Overall, I was impressed with the ease of assembly. My previous hanging style of organizer was a major step down from this one. Thank you, Mike.
