Questions & Answers

What are the chances that this bike rack will ?

The reason I don't know is because I don't have any idea If you want to buy one, you can click here It is a bike cover made of Hiroumer that will protect your bike from dust and dirt Protect your data You should take care of your bike and your car bike rack.

Is it possible to ride road bikes on this rack with narrower tires?

There is no doubt that this rack is excellent. In my own experience, I have an ebike and a mountain bike that both have two wheels. Although it has 5 inch wide tires, the bike does not move or bounce when I drag a friend's road bike on it. Whether you want to answer this question or not is up to you. The answer to this question is neither might nor might not. We do care about your safety, so please do not guess if you haven't hauled a road bike before.

The bikes can be loaded but can the trailer be tilted?

In spite of the fact that it is heavy even by itself, I purchased the 4-bike version. This is a steel product and not an aluminum one. Adding weight to the bikes and tilting them at the same time would make it nearly impossible to raise the bikes again. The 4 bike version would not be recommended tilted at full capacity. assume that the bike version with two bikes therefore weighs less of its own accord, and that is due to the weights

The rack cannot be used with a camping trailer. Why not?

For a camping trailer to be towable, a trailer hitch must be used. There is no place to mount a trailer hitch to pull the trailer as this rack uses the hitch receiver on the back of your car/truck. This rack can be attached to the trailer hitch receiver if that is present on the back of the trailer.

You can build a tank with that! If you like My favorite part of this rack is the back
5/5

Despite the box size and well written instructions, the assembly went off without a hitch. Explanation here? In reality, this bike rack has three locks, one on each of the bike center tubes and another Even if you don't have any bikes with you, you can fold it up in the car. A regular hitch pin that doesn't need to be screwed into the hitchpost works for me and the rack feels This is a highly recommended read.

A Fat Tire And An Carrying bikes on a rack
5/5

As far as I was concerned, this rack had everything I wanted and didn't cost me over $400 like other racks would have. The rack I was looking for was to fit a fat tire E-Z-Go There are not many racks that can carry a bike over 35lbs My E-weight is 45 lbs 60 pounds are the weight of the bike. It would cost over $400 to buy a rack that could carry that much, then you would have to purchase a tray that is just for 4" tires. There are no better prices for the service you receive. The carrier has everything I was looking for, and the price is unbeatable. As well, it is a very good performer. I can easily carry both my 29er and fat bike with it and I feel confident about taking them wherever I go.

This bike rack is perfect for my RadRover Fat eBike
5/5

I just bought an eBike and needed a bike rack as better trails and roads have been made available to me From home, it will take about an hour to reach the road. In the beginning, I was shocked by the high prices of some bike racks on the market, such as the $750 Thule Aluminum & steel bike rack. The carrier is made of plastic. The pros are The welds look clean, and all parts bearing loads are made of It sits very securely on top of the tube similarly to a motorcycle carrier, rather than hanging from the top tube like a bicycle. A bike frame with adjustable height is secured solidly with a padded hook that can be locked. Its tilt feature makes loading easy and the lift gate easier to operate. It is constructed in a solid manner and successfully It may be sufficient to slip on just one set of wheel carriers if you only have one bike. The cons are Despite the hook holding the bike down, there are Velcro wheel straps that extend along the sides. The purpose of the wheel straps is to prevent the bike from moving. Although they were just a bit short for 4" tires, I had some heavy-duty motorcycle wheel ties that I could use instead. As a safety feature, pull-down straps could also be used to connect the hook to the bike as a backup if the hook were to fail catastrophically, which Velcro could not accomplish. My overall impression of this rack is that it is the best rack for the price out there & that it is the best out there in its class The features that are available.

GET READY for the BAD REVIEW, I've got to write it, damn it
3/5

We are disappointed by this! It is a rack that is liked by many. Overall, I was happy with my performance, but there was one major problem The stand sits at an elevation of 100 feet I could not fit a second bike in my van without the handle bars edging the back window of the 2017 Kia Sedona van, because it had a 115 degree angle to the rear. This is insane. To alleviate this problem, I was just going to get a 7 inch hitch extension that would allow me to fit the bikes farther The problem has been But, but. I broke the turn knob with the key lock on the rack on my bike on just my second local trip (within 20 miles of my home). The turn knob spun freely and did not turn It took me a little while to disassemble my bike in order to get it out of under the arm that holds it, and luckily I did not have a second bike mounted What is the reason for this luck? As a result of the broken knob on the upper arm, a lower arm holds the second bike, keeping that second bike in place in contact with the small lower arm. Therefore, the upper arm locks If I wanted to get the second bike out, I would have to remove metal. Here's the issue. A plastic material. The material plastic should NEVER be used for anything that needs to be tightened and secured. As a result, all these racks will be stripped out or rotted out within a couple of years due to the open nature of the plastic and its crucial role in securing I guarantee to EVERYONE that they will encounter this incident later down the road and they will experience it themselves. So for now, the savvy design of this very nifty rack (minus the stupid tilt) seems to be working well and people seem to be giving it A few months down the road, they won't be as

It is disappointing, to say the least. The design of the rack is good (excluding the tilt) but the construction is sub-par.

Heavy duty bike rack that is great for heavy bikes
5/5

Unlike most bike racks, my electric bike weighs 70 lbs - this makes it difficult to transport. The rack can accommodate two electric bikes especially if you want to load them both. As the benchmark for all electric bike racks, the Thule T2 ProXT is the standard for all heavy duty bike racks. Although it is a lovely rack, at close to $600, however, it was out of my price During one of our rides, my riding buddy told me about how his electric bike rack is the Thule Pro XT rack, this Overdrive rack is the same and even more heavy-duty. As far as I know, Overdrive's people (i. e. The rack weighs about 50 pounds fully assembled, it comes in a box with an assembly instruction sheet in it that is easy to follow, and it comes unassembled. The guy in the YouTube video put the rack together in less than 30 minutes using pictures and measurements they gave in their video. After watching the video, I unpacked the box, laid out the parts as the guy in the video did, and in less than 15 minutes had the rack assembled and mounted. The rack has been used several times now including a bumpy road back into the woods, and a 150 mile round trip on the interstate at 70 mph, and both the rack and the bikes have not failed me. I don't like that much the width of the tire holders because the wider balloon tires are 4 inches wide, and the tire holders are a little over 5 inches.

I bid you a fond farewell! My ebike is shown in the first photo without the lock and with the tire straps hanging down from the rack
3/5

My $4000 ebike has been stolen off the rack after the lock was broken on it in the second picture. The tire straps were cut at the places where they were sewn. Despite my liking the rack, it may not be the right one for you if you are looking for security. The following information is also available According to my bike technician, the thieves only had to let the air out of the tires to steal the bike. This means that the rack might secure normal bicycle tires, but securing a fat tire bike requires locking it.
