Questions & Answers

Is there any way to tell when they'll expire?

That is an excellent question: This is something I've been thinking about as well. br>The contents do not contain any biological products, and neither the box nor the individual packets have an expiration date. br>I also use this same brand product from the larger tubes, and the only issue you'll have is if the product is exposed for more than a day. It'll dry out in this case. br>So the real answer is that unless you open a packet, there is no practical expiration; In which case, after a day or so, it begins to dry out. It will then harden in the same way that (Elmer's) glue does, but not quite as hard.

What are the ingredients in this dish?

Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Lanolin, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl, Butycarbamate, Cetyl, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Peg-100 Stearate Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalciferol, Potassium Sorbate, Disodium Edta, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Cholecalciferol

Is there a fragrance to it?

It doesn't have any scent to it.

Have you tried this for rubbing shoes or breaking in new shoes?

Without a doubt. During a recent trip to Disneyland/Universal, I carried one of these small packets inside a ziplock bag (each packet contains multiple days' worth of cream) with me and used it in the middle of the day. While wearing Croc Literide's without socks, I used the day to touch up on the top of my foot. Because I'm not used to not wearing socks, I expected the rubbing on the top of my foot to be unpleasant - I was right. It was a piece of cake with the Butt'r cream. I tried "Glide for Her" in bar form for the same purpose and found it to be completely ineffective. However, I would strongly suggest Chamois Butt'r for this application!

If you have irritation on your sensitive areas of your groin when wearing biking shorts with a chamois, this is something you should try! I was skeptical at first, but once I tried it, I was blown away! Keep this in mind: It is critical to select the appropriate seat. It's critical to have the right pair of bike shorts. This cream, on the other hand, simply ties everything together as a whole. Individual packs are convenient because they measure out exactly the right amount of food. It is simple to remove. They also make a ph-balanced formula for women and a European formula with witch-hazel extract. It has hazel in it to give it a cooling effect.

Maintaining a comfortable environment for the "down there" parts
5/5

I used it on a recent 8-day, 400-mile tour of the Erie Canal and had no chafing or saddle sores. If you don't like the feeling of peeing in your pants, I recommend applying it to your skin instead of the chamois on your bike shorts. br>Also, don't use it on skin that isn't completely dry - For about 5 minutes, you'll be in excruciating pain.

It Works
5/5

It Really Does Work. For longer rides, I use Chamois Butt'r. 100 miles, as well as any ride longer than ten miles. THIS IS AMAZING! Keeps hot spots at bay and makes sitting in the saddle for hours more comfortable. I apply it from the big tube while getting dressed, and keep a few of these 9mL packets in my jersey pocket in case I need to re-apply it. It should be applied about every 25 miles. br>br>Much better than Vaseline, which stained my shorts' padding. br>br>I didn't give it five stars for value because it's pricey, particularly in small packages.

Better not taint anything! To begin, allow me to set the scene

RAGBRAI 2018 is taking place this year. It's the third day, and things are getting a little rough "down there. " I decided that I needed to do something because things were only going to get worse. I got some of these single-use packets from the local bike shop in the overnight town. The next day, there was a huge difference. I wasn't expecting it to work so well, but I was pleasantly surprised. This year I rode RAGBRAI again and made sure to bring a supply with me, and I had no problems; it's a must for me for multi-day rides. Rides during the day.

Butt Butt'r is a character in the film Butt Butt'r, which Chamois cream isn't necessary, but it won't help you avoid chafing in long or triathlon races
5/5

Chamois Butt'r has always been a favorite of mine. 'to' refers to cream. The small tubes are ideal for tossing here and there in gear bags where space is at a premium. Product is of excellent quality, and the packaging is extremely convenient.

It's adequate at what it's supposed to be
5/5

Before most rides longer than 30 miles or so, I use Chamois Butt'r (from the large tubes) and keep the small packets on hand "just in case. " " Frequently, on 50 or 60-minute radio programs, I feel something rubbing on my leg after a mile ride, so I'll use one of the small packets to soothe it. It always works, even if it makes my stomach feel slimy right after I apply it. Everyone is different, but I feel confident in saying it isn't for sitbone problems and isn't a replacement for getting saddle-trained. constrained But, even for saddle-conditioned riders, I believe it adds comfort. When it comes to the stuff in the bigger containers, I've tried both the regular and the menthol (the "European" variety) varieties and can't tell the difference in performance. In addition, the directions state that the product should be applied directly to the chamois. That's something I've never done and don't see why I should. Contrary to popular belief, opposing viewpoints are encouraged.

It keeps you in the driver's seat
5/5

This is what most big bike rides give out to riders as a pre-ride gift. packet for a ride When I go for a long ride, it's nice to have more small packs in my bike bag so I don't have to bring a larger tube. The lube itself helps to prevent chafing and can help you stay in the saddle for longer periods of time.

On long hikes, this is a lifesaver
4/5

This is exactly what I was looking for for my backpacking trip. It effectively prevents chaffing and only requires a small amount of application. If the packaging had been more well-thought-out, I would have given it a five-star rating. You have the option of purchasing either the 8 oz tube or the rip top packaging. The 8 oz is too much for a week on the trail, and the rip tops are messy and difficult to keep inside the container once it's been opened and loaded into my pack. I just put it in a plastic bag and make do, but a smaller version, say 1oz-, would be better. Still love the stuff, and it's saved me from a lot of pain; I just completed a 32-mile hike with no chaffing! It was well worth the money!.
