We drive a semi, so I have to secure a lot of stuff on our top bunk and some on our bottom bunk until we can move it up top. Before I got these, I was clipping everything else on with two caribeaners on each side. This wasn't working because it was difficult to add rings to the double caribeaners, not to mention the fact that they were giving and about to snap. These were discovered while looking for "real" caribeaners. I was skeptical at first because, after all, how can someone be that powerful? There must be a snag somewhere. I was sorely disappointed with myself. These are very sturdy, and the clip part is easy to slide things into while still being very strong. I like that they are available in a variety of colors, especially royal blue, which matches my current decor. On top of that, each one comes with a key ring as an added bonus. When I first saw it, it appeared to be ordinary, inexpensive key rings. nope. What I got was a black ring with a lot of strength. I'm considering using them for my dogs' drags because they seem to eat everything else I put on them and these are tough.

I noticed that some of the lower-cost carabiners were losing their springs, causing the latch to fail. These aren't the type of carabiners I'd use for climbing, but rather for simple tasks like attaching a camera bag to a backpack. As a result, I decided to give these a try, and they appear to be fantastic. They have a sturdy spring latch, which I prefer, but they can also be clipped single-handedly. handed. I'm not sure I'd use these for anything important in my life. But I think these will work great to lash things together, like my Beats headphone case to my backpack when rushing through the airport, for stowing gear and possibly holding up one end of a camping hammock.

for- few- Carabiners used by bucks I wasn't going to rely on them while dangling from a cliff face, after all. What could possibly go wrong with such a simple device?br>br>A lot, as I discovered when three of the first five I tested out of a bag of ten couldn't be closed with one hand because the bale was out of alignment with the rest of the carabiner body, necessitating the use of a second hand to align it with the bale tip. What a hassle. The Gabbros, on the other hand, have a perfectly aligned bale and body for easy one-handed operation. Even with gloves on, right-handed use is possible. They're small and light, but they're incredibly powerful. In a nutshell, you can count on them. It's a real pleasure to find gear that won't fail in this age of technological sophistication, where so much goes wrong.

Additionally, the orange color is very striking and will stand out if dropped on the ground. Each one came with a single key ring loop. These Carabiners will be used for both the Hammock and the ridge line for the tarp when I go Hammock Camping. They should be able to support my weight in a hammock with ease, thanks to their 12kN rating. Because I am unfamiliar with rock climbing, I cannot attest to the use of these Carabiners for that purpose. If you have any questions about using these for rock climbing, I recommend contacting the manufacturer.

These biners are a little smaller than my other 'climbing' biners (which I bought from REI). It's possible that you'll struggle a little with one at first. They're fine for casual use and appear to be well-made. They are unquestionably superior to the alternatives available in hardware stores. However, if you need to use them quickly, I recommend going with larger ones. For comparison, I've included a picture. (The blue ones are from Black Diamond, the silver ones are from Camp, and the black ones are from this brand. ).

The steel carabiners that came with our hammocks were 1/3 the weight of these ones. However, when a person weighing nearly 200 pounds sat in the hammock, the wire gate slipped slightly off the hook. In other words, the carabiner flexed enough to slightly widen the opening. The hammock's strap was not in danger of slipping out, but I am concerned about the carabiner breaking or stretching over time; thankfully, that individual is not the one who uses the carabiners. We all weigh under 140 pounds when we use them. I'm afraid I won't be able to use these in a double hammock. I didn't need the key ring clips at this point; they were simply the best deal available in the colors I desired.

br>Last year, we had a second little one, and as she's grown, she's watched her big sister play on the rope swing--much to the envy of passing neighborhood kids. We decided to purchase a toddler swing and use these, as well as a repelling ring, to make the rope interchangeable. br>With much envy, I might add. We're ready to go with just a quick climbing knot and these quick clips. br>The giggles of a 9-month-old baby are getting louder! br>Now that both of my daughters have a rope swing, my older daughter enjoys gently pushing her younger sister on it. It's one of the first things they've had the opportunity to try out - really have fun with each other! br>It was a wise investment. br>br>To sum it up, I'll never buy cheap d hooks from a hardware store again- There is a significant difference between the two.

Carabiners that are both attractive and functional. These are good-looking carabiners that can be used. I was surprised at how good the quality was. The lack of a logo on these carabiners, as seen in Amazon product images, is an added bonus. I'm hanging heavy gear bags from two of them. The small black rings are of higher quality than the ones I have on my keychain. As a result, I substitute these for the others. So far, everything has met my expectations. br>br>In exchange for this review, I received a $5 Amazon gift card from the seller. If these turn out to be a waste of time in the future, I'll post an update explaining what went wrong. However, I enjoy them so much that I purchased a second set while they were on sale.
