Questions & Answers

How would you like to wash the ?

Thanks for your question, Elizabeth. Yes, you may wash the yoga mat towel, but please do not dry it. The little rubber beads require you to hang them dry

How many inches is this?

I believe it covers the standard size manduka mat, which I believe is 72 x 108 inches. It will be too short on that mat if 72 is the long mat. The version I have now is 68 rather than 72, so no, it's

The mat is gripped by nubs embedded in the towel. Is it possible to feel them?

Yes, you can do that. Throughout the mat, your feet will feel them if your mat is very flat. You will feel them less if you have a mat that is more porous.

How does it compare to the household dusters I have been given to use around the house? Does it feel smoother than those I have had to use?

The product does not have that moisture The soft feel of microfiber is not fluffy like that of a towel, and it has a sucking feeling. As comfortable as cotton clothing, it feels like it will last a long time. The one I have has been used over 500 times over the past five years, and it has been washed and dried every time. It is still in excellent condition, although the stitching on the borders is a little frayed.

Is a knockoff of The item has been returned
3/5

The watercolor flower "Yogitoes" was bought by me. I purchased this item on Amazon (see left) At right are my Yogitoes from Manduka (At left are my Yogitoes from the Manduka website). Although the design is amazing, the hemming and rubber grippers in the photo are not aqua, as they appear You can't go wrong with them. As long as the manufacturer replicated the thickness and density of the grippers, like Manduka does, I wouldn't have a problem with this variation. It falls far short of the quality of my four Yogitoes towels (purchased from the Manduka website), has little care information, and is not recyclable. It may have an appealing design, but lacks essential features. It's not going to provide me with the functionality I need. I would like to practice on this towel, but it's not going to work Ultimately, I'm somewhat disappointed with this knockoff, and I intend to return it.

Negative reviews are to be taken seriously
3/5

However, I still purchased it even though there were negative reviews, because I thought any quality issues would have been resolved by now. There is a problem, but it is not as simple as that. The item I bought, the turtle print, was on backorder when I ordered it, but was shipped earlier than the original shipping date that was told to me. It is the first thing that I noticed when opening the package that the coloring appears to be muted rather than vibrant. It may be that different monitors show colors differently so I can't be sure, but the colors are dull on my monitor. It turned out that there was some smudging on the purple dot at the top. It wasn't really a concern of mine but I thought it was worth mentioning. My towel seems to be rolled out kind of unevenly when I unfold it I'm not a fan of the way the edges don't line up, so I think the center omitted this. According to the yoga mag, the towel is lined up with the form, but there appears to be a small gap on one side. 10 minutes into my practice, I slid by foot and then looked down to go into plank, only to find white pills on the towel as if the print on the towel had been lost. It shouldn't happen ever to spend $50 on a towel, but would you mind doing a gentle yoga flow for 10 minutes? This mat will be returned, and buyers beware - the negative reviews are valid.

Purchased in 2017 and found it to be great
5/5

My hands have been sweating a lot lately, so I've tried all the yoga mats promising to be easier to grip as you sweat more. Despite trying all tricks, like using sea salt on a new mat in the sun, or using it for a longer period of time since apparently the more you use them, the better they get gripped, I still feel like I'm going to slip Then I just gave up and bought it instead, and now I wish I had done it earlier. In truth, I probably use it more than I should probably between washings, as I just roll it right up with my yoga mat. One is my only one, and probably I should buy a few more so I can wear another while the other is getting cleaned or is in my Although I realize it's gross, I will mention it to emphasize the fact that the smell is never unpleasant. I don't notice any sort of musty scent in my sweat, but I don't usually smell anything in it. The one I use is 10 The recommended minimum amount of washing between washes is 15. This is what I do in the mornings on hot days when I sweat heavily.
There is a solution to hot yoga or sweating a lot if it interferes with your practice. This is the best deal if you don't mind getting the mat and the towel, and don't mind wasting money on.

This is a good item for days with high flow rates
3/5

My sweating rate is a little higher than average, which is why I sweat more than women. In addition, the pattern is a lot less slick than the Manduka towel, which is a lot cheaper. It's only when the weather is so hot that I have really large puddles that I prefer using a mat. When I practice hot yoga, I prefer a naked Lululemon mat with a hand towel on hand to wipe up moderate amounts of sweat. It does work on those really heavy flow days we have.

No matter which way we go, by the time I get to three wheels I don't have enough grip to maintain it. It doesn't matter whether you use this towel or not.

This is an average quality yoga towel
3/5

A hot yoga class required the use of a towel. The print and colours of the fabric are good, but the material is thin. I did not use the silicon nubs very much since the towel moved a lot. It's made of a heavier material and it stays put better than the older one. I believe that Manduka towels currently produce lower quality towels than they used to. during practice, the yoga mat is damp when I remove the towel when I remove the towel because of poor absorption of perspiration. The quality of the product is disappointing.

The product works well, but is too expensive
4/5

There is only one thing that matters - Due to the silicone grips, these yoga towels are the standard in the industry. The use of this feature is prevalent in multiple studios throughout Let me give you the pros first Please note
The towel grips the mat better than other towels I have tried, and it stays put more often than not. Please note that you will need to adjust it and straighten it several times throughout class. Four is probably the most likely The number of times a 75-foot plane lands is six Classes are 60 minutes long. Please note
A durable material. You can machine wash it and it has a long lifespan. In my studio, we have towels that have been washed and used up to 3 times per day for years and still show no signs of wear and tear. Cons/Critiques - In its current state, it is definitely overpriced for what you get. Please note
Essentially, it's a very slim bag that barely reaches the edges of a regular one A matt of this size isn't common, let alone a mat of this size. Please note
There is no doubt that it will hold a decent amount of sweat, and the more wet it gets, the more gripper it will get, but that can only last so long. I find I can slip out of myself 40 minutes into a hot class if the gloves have gotten so wet they lose their grip, so I just put a hand towel on top to help me stay in place An animal. Tips for writers Please note
Spray down your mat before you lay down the mat, then spray the top of the towel before you practice. It actually improves grip when there is a little moisture present. Please note
Put it in the washer instead of the Although it's not stellar, it's not bad either. For now, it seems to be the best choice out there, but I don't know if there are any better options. *1. *2. *3. I give this a 5.
