I'm guessing yes. It appears to be a suitable material for such an endeavor. I'd do it with a towel or cloth.
It doesn't bother me when I wear it with a tank. However, I wouldn't describe it as soft. It's made of a thick, durable cotton.
It kind of worked. I'd recommend going with your regular size.

I was given a jacket that was completely unrelated to the one I had ordered. Why do prices change on XS (if I wash hang dry, it says "preshrunk," but I have to pay more for small)? Because there is no recycled polyestester mix, wash on cold to maintain the dark color. When I got it, there were no thumb holes, the color had washed out and faded before I wore it, and the collar had a "string" to tighten it? Satva is not one of them. I tell everyone that I only purchase fair trade or couture items. I've sold couture and now I'm working on designing my own sustainable couture line. I have a three-year degree and have previously worked as a model. I love the Satva Aliyah jecket for daytime wear that can also be dressed up if done correctly. br>br>Make certain it's from the business. You're going to love them.
The Small was returned and replaced with a Medium. I'm 5'8" tall and weigh 125 pounds, so I usually wear a Small, but it was too small for me. The Medium was the perfect size!.
Thumb holes to die for: I really like how the jacket is thicker and warmer than I expected. It's extremely plush and comfortable. I had no idea the cuffs had thumb holes, which I also appreciate. It fit perfectly over a shirt, dress, or layers, just as I had hoped. 95% Organic Cotton/5% Lycra was the material as listed. I love this jacket so much that I bought a second one as a backup because I wear it almost every day!.
