This is a great sandbag with good shape, size, and overall feel. Since I used them for restorative yoga at home for years, I've been addicted to them. I loved how the bags were easy to fill and adjust. However, one of the outer bags eventually began to tear at the handle. This is not a deal breaker since it remains functional, just less convenient to carry. I noticed sand leaking onto my bed, floor, etc. I thought it was just a tiny bit that had made its way out over time, but it got worse, and when I opened the outer bag and looked inside, the lining of the bag had become ripped. I guess the advertised "leak" wasn't what it seemed Technology that is proof. Although I was gentle with them, I still plan to order a replacement. The price is right, and although the wear and tear didn't add up for years, they did last very long for me. The option to add photos of the damage I described above does not exist for some reason. Would you be able to approve it after submission?.
In addition to being very nice, they are very well made. It was the purple lotus flower that I ordered. It is a little difficult to fill the inner bag with sand. I fill the inner bag halfway, insert it into the outside bag, and fill the outer bag. As opposed to filling the inner bag to capacity and then trying to fit it into the outer bag, this is simpler.
There is no doubt that the yoga sandbags are exactly what they say they are, and the lotus embroidery is stunning. Since I didn't have sand, I filled them with decorative gravel. I had no trouble installing the gravel inside the inner pouch. They weigh about 91/2 pounds but must have some breathing room in the bag so that they stay flexible. Thanks to Yoga Accessories, I am able to enhance my personal yoga practice with these excellent products. It would be a pleasure to place another order.
You can reduce your weight by using crushed walnuts. These long bags ease the pressure on the gun rest like sandbags do, for about half the price of a shooting bag that does the same thing. I don't do yoga, but I do shoot from bench rests where sandbags are used to weigh them down. There is also a handle on them. As a result, I filled them up the hard way to ensure that sand stays inside the containers Pull out the inner bag, fill it about 90% full, and slowly place it inside the outer bag upside down (zipper side to the bottom), so that if there is leakage, it won't affect In the case of crushed walnuts, the weight will not be a consideration if you want support for your lizard terrarium. These walnuts are sold here on Amazon as lizard terrarium bedding, and they are effectively the same as sand without the Aside from being cheap, it also offers the best quality. * EDIT * I would like to make a suggestion based on long-term use In any case, if you use the upside-down inner bag method described above, you won't leak anything. However, the weave of the bag is coarse enough that if you use fine sand like I did, the dust will detach from between the two double-woven sides since the bag weave is so coarse. Sandbags that have been bagged Whatever you need to do, toss it in your trunk or onto your living room floor. Before you stuff the inner bag into the outer bag, get a simple grocery store poly bag and put the inner bag into it. Dustproof bags will help to keep surfaces clean by preventing dust from building up on them. Additionally, I use 3 of them to shoot on my Lead Sled benchrest, one on each of the front arms, and one in the center drawer. Solid as a rock. As long as the bags are out of the way, a rifle can be used. I would like to add another edit Then I bought another few of them a year later. On my second batch of bags, I went back to using the same method as the first time and did not use the upside-down method. The process is too tedious and if you just do the outer bag inside the inner bag, the inner bag will be full from empty. You can fill the bag fully and gain the benefits of a full Finally, there is the Foodsaver - don't forget to use it Using a vacuum sealer, place those bags as the inner bag if they are large enough to be useful. Once the bag is sealed, only a little air must be removed. Make sure you don't follow all the way, or else the block will become concrete. Neither leak dust nor are they prone to rust.
I wanted to say that it was a good product for the price. You won't get something exciting for 10 dollars but it'll last and the zipper isn't too bad. I have not had any leaking yet in about 3 weeks of using it. For the price you're paying, it's a decent product. If I had to buy it again, I would.
In the inner bag, it's easy to fill. The store where I bought the sand has just come out with new inventory - *Works great for restorative yoga! It holds about 10 pounds of sand.
After going to the beach, I filled up the inner bag with sand and inserted it into the outer bag. I use it for stretching in yoga, but it also works well for other purposes. Sand bags that stand up straight are easier to store than those that flop over when opened.
I found exactly what I was looking for in the bags. The bags are constructed well, and although I have not had them for very long, they appear to be working well. In each bag I pack roughly 10 pounds of pebbles, which I place into freezer-size baggies and use as weights in my backpack so that I can practice trekking with weights that are similar or larger than the weight I will carry.
