A small was purchased by me. Super stretchy and comfortable, with a nice athletic material that isn't see-through. Shorts are worn underneath. Was a smidgeon too big in the waist, but I wouldn't have gone down a size because the back would have been too short.
This turned out to be a little bigger than I had anticipated. In the first wash, the tie string also came undone. Aside from that, everything is fantastic. Tennis balls aren't allowed in pockets because they're too big.
This skirt is one of my favorites because it is so comfortable. It does run a little big because the small (blue skirt) fit me perfectly and the medium (white skirt) fit but was a little loose, so I had to fold the top over my waist; however, it's a great quality skirt!!.
This skirt was purchased for a party/golf event, and it fit much better than I had anticipated. After reading some reviews, I decided to go with the XS rather than the Small, and it fits perfectly. FYI - I weigh 115 pounds and stand 5'4" tall. The white wasn't see-through (it might have been in the shorts, but not with the skirt on top). It arrived wrinkled in the packaging, but with the help of my steamer, I was able to remove the wrinkles and it didn't wrinkle while I was wearing it. It was long enough to cover my butt, but not quite long enough (which was my goal). I'm not sure how functional the pockets are, but that's not why I bought the skirt in the first place. I would strongly suggest it.
I went with the medium and it was a good fit. If you're a true small, go with that size; my only gripe is that the undershorts are a little loose in the leg, and the ball could fall out if you're playing tennis. I simply pushed it up a notch higher than usual. That said, it's a nice-looking shirt with a drawstring at the waist, and it's a great deal compared to name-brand tennis skirts!.
On Amazon, I ordered two sizes larger because my waist and hips are larger and you never know if something will stretch. This is very long and extremely stretchy. It slipped past my fingertips, even though I'm 5'4 165 pounds. The shorts were also a little baggy. If you're looking for a more form fitting and short skirt, size down!.
My granddaughter works at a country club, where they wear club shirts and tennis skirts as their uniform. The ones provided by the club are nice, but the waistband is a little loose, so she preferred this one because it has a drawstring. The overall fit and quality are excellent. The delivery was made on time.
I expected it to be of a certain length. As if it were a pair of shorts. I had no idea there was a pocket on the inside of the shorts, but it's not very sturdy for holding anything other than a small coin purse because that part is so comfortable. A phone is too heavy to carry, and a credit card is too slick to use. When active, the shorts beneath them resemble underwear.
