In my dryer, I use them! They were recommended to me over 30 years ago, and the first one I bought lasted over 28 years! I throw blankets, pillows, bedspreads, coats, jackets, and other items in the dryer to make them fluffy. My pillows used to come out with the feathers/filler all packed in one corner before I started using tennis balls in my dryer. The contents of the pillow have now been fluffed up all over it. Blankets are no longer rolled up while drying. They've always been an excellent laundry helper. This useful tip has been passed on to all of my friends. These new tennis balls have already proven to be extremely effective! Such a simple solution to such a complex issue!.
In the name of my dog, I'm writing this review. He's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, which means he's descended from dogs bred to retrieve ducks from the Chesapeake Bay's frigid waters. We've relocated to Arizona, where the only ice we have is in our drinks. He spent 11 years diving full force into our pool to retrieve tennis balls, and our swimming pool and tennis balls are a reasonable substitute. He told us that these specific balls were ideal for his requirements.
This review is solely for the purpose of using these Wilson tennis balls with a regular walker. These were simple to cut an X through and slide right onto my walker's back legs. They are securely fastened and do not move or fall off. They work well on carpet, tile, and sidewalks, as well as department store floors. They're a little more expensive here than at a Sports store, but for a few dollars more, I'll never have to leave my house to get them delivered in 2-hours. In my case, the additional cost of three days was well worth it.
It's been incredibly difficult to find a tennis ball that my dog won't destroy, but I've finally found one! My dog is of the "aggressive breed" and enjoys scalping and obliterating tennis balls. I've experimented with a variety of tennis ball brands and types, and she enjoys the challenge. I read on the internet that the Wilson XD Slam brand is a great, tough one for dogs, and they are absolutely correct! I only gave one of these balls to my dog, and it's still unpenetrated and intact after more than a week! Definitely going to buy more of these in the future!.
My labradoodles give it their seal of approval! Much better than the phony tennis balls available at big-box pet stores. They can withstand a lot of chewing and, unlike pet store balls, do not fall apart after a few days.
Toby, my chocolate labrador, was the recipient of these balls. He's a chewer, but I've finally found a tennis ball that lasts longer than any other tennis ball I've bought from a pet store. Toby enjoys fetching the ball, but when he returns it to me, he likes to naw on it, causing it to split open after a few days of play. These, however, are not such balls. One of the three has been in use for three weeks and is still holding up well. The bounce these balls have when they hit the ground is one of my favorite features. Seeing an 80-pound labrador leap into the air to catch a bouncing ball is impressive. We'll repurchase once we've finished all three. The only disadvantage is that once they become dirty, they blend in with the grass.
I've been playing tennis for a long time, and a three-can set of tennis balls isn't exactly a three-can set. pack. Furthermore, a single pack of gum usually costs around $5. 00, with a maximum of $7. I don't usually return purchases, and I'm not going to do so with this one, but I was disappointed to find only one can in the delivery.
Two packs were purchased. These were extremely inexpensive and ideal for playing fetch with my dog in the yard. When my dog is playing fetch, however, he gets excited and bites harder, and he has already busted two of them (on the same day). The last one from the first pack has become his pool ball, and it appears to be holding up well. That's a plus because I haven't needed to open the second pack yet. However, I think I'll have to get some real dog tennis balls next time.
