When worn on the leg, they do not appear to be as long as they appear in the photo, in my opinion.
They're about the same size as a medium adult kneepad.

When I ordered black kneepads for black kneepads, I never received an incorrect order.

Mizuno is my all-time favorite volleyball brand, and I've been playing for 15 years. For volleyball-related gear, this is my all-time favorite brand. Even if you know how to dive, you can't help but put some strain on your knees, and my previous kneepads were great at absorbing the majority of the impact, but that was not the case with these. It was probably best if I didn't put them on. They're flimsy and appear to be of low quality. I tried them out a few times, thinking they just needed some time to break in, but the results were the same. As a long-time player of the sport, I would not recommend this product to anyone.
These were purchased for my ten-year-old daughter, who is tall and the size of a 13/14-year-old boy. She is a size 16 in clothing, and these are a perfect fit for her, with a nice cushioned knee. I would strongly advise! I bought these in November and ended up keeping them until the end of January, and they've been fantastic!.
" They're extremely comfortable and soft. They're extremely tough and thick. It's like a happy medium between being too thick and chunky and being too thin. The knee pads are designed to cover the entire knee, not just the front, but also the entire knee itself. When you bend down to pass or anything, the backs of the knee pads don't crumble. The only thing that bothers me is that the tiny little tags on them stick out, which drives me insane because of my ocd. So, yeah, I'm going to cut those suckers off soon. BUY THEM OR YOU WILL REGRET USING OTHER KNEE PADS BECAUSE YOU WILL BE MAKING A SIGNIFICANT MISTAKE!.
I am a member of a co-op team. I've had these for about a year now, and I'm in an indoor volleyball league. On my legs, they provide excellent coverage! With two other sets of knee pads on the gym floor, I'd gotten two massive burns on my shins. I'd had enough of that after two instances, so I looked on Amazon and discovered these. I'm 5'1" and have thinner legs, but they stay up perfectly and cover past my knees to my shins, and I've had no burns since. Outstanding craftsmanship! The padding is still comfortable to dive on, the black hasn't faded after several washes, and the "Mizuno" stitching is still visible. Knee pads are very nice!.
I have a half-dozen pairs of these that I use for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Although the floor is already matted, I require additional protection in the event of falls onto my knees, constant pressure on my knees, and so on. They are by far the best BJJ knee pads I've tried, and I've tried a lot. They're comfortable, affordable, offer good protection, are long-lasting, and have a low profile (so they don't get in your way). I'm 6'1", 200 pounds, and have fairly large legs, so they're snug but not too tight. They stay put for the duration of the roll. I believe they are a perfect fit, and I'm not sure what kind of legs people with tight legs have. I've had a couple of pairs in my rotation for the past 6 years (again, I rotate several pairs). They do stretch out over time, but that usually takes a year or so, and even then, they're still wearable for a long time after that. I machine wash them after each class and hang them to dry.
They have a low profile and look great, despite the fact that their coverage area isn't huge. If you want a sleek look as well as some protection (not repeated impacts for hours on end), these slim guards are the way to go. They have a very professional appearance. br>br>However, please don't do what my husband did and go caving when you have to crawl for over a mile! You're going to have a bad time if you use these for a lot of serious crawling, but I'm not taking away any stars because they didn't work out for him. After all, that is not the purpose for which they were created. I recommend Trace Volleyball Kneepads for caving, which are a little weirder than these but offer a lot of protection. Despite this, the kneepads remained intact after all of the abuse. They've been washed and are looking brand new again!.
By gardening, I mean the kind of combat gardening I do in my yard, where I'm on my knees in mud removing ivy, ejecting day lilies en masse, and planting native grasses three at a time because you only have 15 minutes, it's 9 p. m. , and the mosquitoes are wreaking havoc. I simply wear my long shorts or go bare-knee for regular gardening. When it comes to garden knee pads, the options are mostly limited to the construction and straps. imho - The Mizuno pads are comfortable, do not slip, and are easy to put on and take off, restricting blood flow behind the knee and causing pain. I go to the store without realizing I'm wearing them. The cost is also reasonable. If you are submerged in mud, they will retain moisture, but this is easily remedied by purchasing two pairs. For older gardeners, such as myself, this book is highly recommended.
It's been used about 6 times and there are already holes in it. Knees don't have enough padding to protect them. PROS: It has a good length of 8 inches and doesn't fall down as much as my older Mizuno knee pad when I'm sliding on the volleyball court (I'm not sure if it's because it's still new and hasn't stretched out as much as my older Mizuno knee pad). CONS: br>br> The quality is poor. The most important part of the knee pad has insufficient padding. While playing volleyball, I knelt to dig a ball, and it wasn't even a difficult dig kneeling, but the hard floor slammed into my knees, bruising it badly. I used to have an older Mizuno knee pad with thicker knee padding, but it wasn't enough protection. My previous knee padding was shorter and kept slipping out of position as I slid across the floor, so I bought this one because of its length. Overall: br>br> It's been used about 6 times and there are already holes in it. When digging and sliding, it stays in the same knee position, so I don't have to constantly adjust it, but the padding is poor quality and insufficient to protect your knees. I would not recommend this product.
