Questions & Answers

Would this be appropriate for a 9-year-old with a 21-inch round head?

It is possible that it is not certain. For an adult, my head isn't particularly big.

What kind of substance is it? Cotton? Poly? tri- blend?

They don't say in any of mine, but I'm guessing they're poly.

How wide is this headband and what are its dimensions?

25 inches at the widest pointbr>1. 5 inches at its narrowest point

Is the band fat or lean? Are you looking for something that isn't paper thin?

It's not quite paper thin, but it's not quite thick either. I have three of them and enjoy them immensely.

The best headband on the market
5/5

I'm 44 years old, and I sweat profusely while playing basketball! I bought every Nike, UA, Adidas, and other brand you can think of, and I've tried them all. The thick Nike ones that NBA players wear are a waste of money. They get a little damp, and the rest begins to run down your face. I even tried the thin Nike ones with the back tie. Not only did I not have the appearance of a Ninja, but they were also too thin and purely cosmetic. br>br>And now for the Junk headband: Last year, I competed in a Spartan race in Colorado Springs. I bought one of their logo headbands as a souvenir at the end of the race. I was blown away by how much sweat it absorbs on my first time playing basketball with it. Between games, I remove it, roll it up into a ball, and squeeze it with a gym towel. It soaks up the towel completely. Junk headbands, which are lightweight and thin, can hold up to ten times more sweat than other brands. They're stretchy and snugly fit on my head. I'm not sure how they get them to be so absorbent, but it's incredible! When I squeezed it onto the concrete, it soaked it up like a water bottle. br>br>I couldn't find any on the internet, so I went out and bought a plain black one. I hoped it was made of the same material as the other, and it was! Listen, I'm not one for leaving product reviews, but these are genuine. These headbands are superior to all others on the market. This is a must-have for anyone who sweats a lot and needs a headband to keep sweat off their face. I've never had one rip and brag about how great they are to everyone at my gym.

For thin-haired girls, this is the best headband! I have thin hair, and finding a headband that doesn't move up the back of my head has been a challenge
5/5

I didn't get wet because I didn't sweat. This is an incredible brand. It is both comfortable and light. I'll be purchasing more of these in the near future!.

I adore Junkbands, and they're always better than you'd expect
5/5

They're of decent quality. I have a tie from about three years ago that I still have. These are much more effective. They did an excellent job of addressing the issues with the old type that I have; these keep the sweat out of your face just like the old ones, but unlike the old ones, this version does not give you a headache. These do not move around. The older version has a tendency to slip, and sweat quickly dries. Back in May, I bought two of these for my mother for Mother's Day. I was a little concerned because they didn't have my older style, but I decided to go with it. My father kept stealing them from my mother for his workouts, so my mother requested that I get him two for Father's Day. Her birthday is coming up this month, and she's asked for more because they're still running out. If that doesn't convince you that these are worthwhile, I'm not sure what will. They are so enamored with these that they often fight over them. I'm most likely going to upgrade mine and buy one for myself. By the end of it all, I'll most likely have purchased ten copies.

With this product, you won't get a concussion! Wow! I experimented with a variety of headbands
5/5

There are a variety of brands and widths to choose from. This is ideal for me because I am 55 and the black one does not look too young for my taste. In addition, I have thick hair that does not slip. There will be no brain damage! 😎. The extra two dollars is well worth it to be able to use it rather than toss it in my junk drawer and lose track of this headband. I'm going to go out and buy some more "subdued" colors today! Why not live a little on the wild side and buy a bright, outrageous color?.

It just floats away from me
3/5

This product was recommended to me because of its sweat-wicking properties and the fact that it would stay in place while working out, and I really wanted to like it. I'll admit that it kept a decent amount of sweat off my brow, but no matter how hard I tried, the band would not stay on my head. The headband has no grip, so it just slides off my head, defeating the purpose. I was extremely disappointed.

The size is inconveniently small, and the material isn't absorbent
3/5

I like the look of the headband, and I'm disappointed that I won't be able to wear it, at least as a fashion statement. br>br>Because the material is so thin, there is no way for sweat to be absorbed. It relies on the weather being hot and dry where you are to quickly evaporate any sweat that has accumulated. If only it had fit properly, I could have lived with it and only used it when necessary. Unfortunately, it's also too tight. br>br> It's far too small. I started getting a headache from being so tense after only a few minutes. br>br>Unfortunately, my search for a headband continues; however, if you have a smallish head and live in a dry area of the country, this might be an acceptable alternative. br>br>UPDATE: This is something I purchased.

This is fantastic
5/5

These are fantastic. It took a few tries to get it to stay in place and hold my hair back the way I wanted it to. But once you have it, it's incredible! It also appears to be quite attractive. I'm a burly, bearded, ax-wielding, gun-wielding hulk of a man. This does not appear effeminate on me in the least (as I had feared). They also stay put without putting too much pressure on my head. I wanted to see if I liked it, so I ordered it. I was so pleased with what I accomplished that I ordered several more.

I tried two different off-the-shelf Scunci headbands, both of which were terrible for working out
5/5

br>br>On second thought, there's probably a reason why champion power lifters wear this brand: it's expensive for "what it is" in terms of quantification by fabric yard or some other metric, but I believe that's a pointless qualitative analysis. It's well-priced for the quality of service it provides. I use it for squats, bench, and deadlifts, as well as putting in 10 miles on the exercise bike, and I'll replace it when it wears out.
