I'm not sure how well they work with the heater pitching machine, but I do use real baseballs.
It's made of rubber. On a rough surface, I doubt they'd last very long. Only on grass do I use them.

I bought a few dozen of these balls to supplement my Jugs dimple ball collection, and I'm very pleased with them. These are incredibly accurate in my Casey and Casey Pro pitching machines, and they work just as well as the Jugs, look and feel exactly like the Jugs, for a fraction of the price.
It's obvious! I was blown away by it. They perform admirably. They flew more like real leather baseballs when they hit the ground. These are hot right out of the gate and go a long way. But there was no sting off the bat, and they were accurate through my Atec M1 pitching machine, so I'll buy more when they're available. br>br>UPDATEbr>They are still working perfectly. In the cage, we had a few team batting practices. When used in the field, they are lively. They aren't rising as quickly as high seam baseballs. A sizzle sound is produced by high seam baseballs. This is a quiet and precise device.
Because it rains a lot where we live, the machine was never reliable when it came to baseballs. We received these, and despite getting wet from landing on wet grass, they performed admirably. We bought three more bags and have been using them for a few months now, with a lot of batting practice.
The item arrived so quickly that it astounded me. I had a lesson the next morning and had doubts that it would arrive on time, but it did, and with plenty of time to spare. The balls were reasonably priced and appear to be of good quality.
Flights have gone off without a hitch. I've even put them in a batting cage with them. It'll be interesting to see how long they last, but so far they've been successful.
We bought four of these for our Jugs 50 pitching machine, and they work great, especially when compared to the Jugs OEM model. br>br>Have used these with the machine for batting and fielding practice.
Wow, I'm blown away. Great balls, with a nice hard baseball feel to them but none of the sting. Pitching machines, soft toss, and regular pitching all benefit from this product. I'm not sure how well they'll perform on a rough surface, such as a street or concrete. I use them on turf and they work great; keep in mind that the gloss color makes it look a little sparkly. Overall, these are fantastic baseballs.
Excellent value for money. For pitching machines, this is a must-have item. The yellow color is useful for locating them after my son has hit them in a field. The first baseman is up to bat, and the fourth batter is up to bat.
