Questions & Answers

It would be nice to have Do you think a 12 year old can fit into a 5?

I have a 13 year old who is 165 lbs and 5'4" and fits the description

The 31 has been completed. Is an 18 year old able to fit into a 5 catchers mitt? Or would I need something a bit larger?

It is a A size 5 seems like the perfect youth size. I think you might need to move up a size if you're a size 18. The pitchers can now bring some pop to the game when kids reach the age of 18. In order to handle the heat, you will need a glove that is larger and padded.

Using batting gloves in size L fits me well. Are these gloves compatible with my hands?

There may be a bit of a snug fit, but I think this size 12 is okay. You would be able to find a Renegade mitt that fits your hand size in 5".

There are 11 more than one. Would a 5 inch glove be a good fit for my 13 year old son?

If your kid is between 13 and 17 inches tall, it will depend on the size I am years old As long as the old one is smaller, then it should be okay. A friend of mine gave me this glove for my 9-year-old I am years old He is an old man. Usually my child holds on to it for a couple years, but (at least in my child's case) by the time he is 13 he will most likely be using a 12 instead. You may choose a mitt of 5 or 13 inches.

It is an amazing mitt for a first baseman his age
5/5

Light and big at the same time. Intruders break in quickly. My son's first base mitt is a gamble for me given the fact that I didn't want to spend a lot. I think this would sell for a lot more money and it's a real gem. As a big glove, it is fairly easy for a 9+ year old to handle, although it does take a little while for it to break in. There are 20+ year old Rawlings, Wilson, and Nokona mitts I still have that should last well into the next decade but this leather broke in too fast to be good quality leather but he should have a couple years with This is one of the best games for young players.

This is the perfect glove for my 8yr old's first time playing 1B! In the second grade, my son is playing kid pitch travel for the first time
5/5

As a 1B, he plays a lot and began complaining about pain in his hand every time he caught a pitch. An A800 youth 11 Wilson is in his possession. The glove on his hands is a size 5 for an infielder, which is fine for him to play 3B, but not In the past, I purchased a Wilson A800 1B glove, but it was too big, I may have bought a non youth size. This glove nonetheless performs better right out of the box. I am glad my kid has more confidence in 1B now that it was easy to break in. As I watched my child try to catch the ball in the webbing of his glove instead of the pocket, I noticed how he shifted his old glove. You won't need to worry about the size of your kid. This glove will be the right transition glove for your kid as they transition to the.

Despite the price tag, this is a good catchers mitt
4/5

This is my second purchase of a Renegade series catchers mitt. It's the first time we've bought online. We bought this glove for our son, who's 13. A little over two little league seasons and a few tournaments were spent on his first baseball mitt. It might be 80/20 broken in, but I'm not sure. The need for improvement is still there, but less than in other areas. The fact that this mitt has worn out faster means it It doesn't have the same quality leather as I expected. Despite this, the mitt is a good buy for the price. As long as he decides to continue catching in high school we will take him to a better quality mitt to support his needs. For now it's working just fine.

It's a great option for a good price
4/5

It's a great quality for the price. I would grade it a 5 out of 5 stars, but it comes just slightly below the Allstar mit in the same price range. The number 4 is appropriate. I give this product five stars. There is not such a thing as "professional grade" leather, but IMO you won't see the benefits of a high quality leather for kids in youth football. By the time it breaks down, the glove will be too small for them. A break for everyone It may seem like a big deal, but the leather was relatively soft and the price tag was affordable, so I decided to give it a try. Our choice turned out to be the right one.

Baseball was the best buy I ever made
5/5

on an independent league and recently moved to 1st base, so I had already bought a Wilson A2-K and a Nike Keystone mitt when I met another first baseman who always used this Rawlings brand Renegade. It performed well from the wedge of glove to the pocket, and I was pleasantly surprised. In every case, the ball ended up in the Then I asked him where I could find this 200$ glove, he laughed and said I could probably get it for 70 or less, which made me The glove here is much cheaper than the one I owned, a Wilson that cost $300 and up. After looking it up on Amazon, I was able to get it I find this unbelievable! As a result, I received this mitt in two days and I'm really impressed by the lacing and durability like my friend There are no quality issues here! It serves as a backup when used at first, while A2K serves as an initial copy. It is easy to break in the glove. I really like the shell, which is made of leather. The glove I use is a size XXL and the size 12 is my shoe size. Five is definitely a big enough number. A baseball buy I made that was the best so far. The gloves are great for high school too, especially if you are competitive. I have yet to relace my gloves. This product is durable. We are now on the 12th. You may repeat step 5. It is not my job to review products. There is no way I can keep this private. Make sure you don't get too hung up on names. The experience taught me a lot. Service of a high standard.

It is well made
5/5

It is so wonderful to be The more I break it in, the better it gets. The purchase was a good one. My son, who I bought this for, is just as excited as I am. As promised, the leather has become semi broken in and is soft to the touch. I like the way it looks and how well made it feels. This is a great product and I am very satisfied I had to give it a positive review. No one will let you down. You cannot go wrong with the price and the quality.

Not easy to come by I am looking for a left handed first baseman's mitt for a It is both the glove and the seller that I recommend
5/5

It arrived nearly completed and with a broken kickstand. It was delivered promptly, and the price is competitive. I don't know how good the quality is until I use it this summer, but Rawlings is a very good brand, so I have no reason to be concerned about it. Not easy to come by The number of companies that make a left handed first baseman's mitt for a 10-year-old is limited.

On a budget, but with great quality
5/5

As the coach of a baseball team, my husband needed a new glove for his first baseman. Among the Rawlings Renegade Series, they chose this one. The glove does not provide the most protection out there, but it is still a very good quality glove at a price that could fit the budget of the average boy. Coach and player are satisfied with the way the glove has performed so far. It's been a few months since the season began and the glove has broken in quickly.
