Questions & Answers

What size is considered standard?

A standard thickness grip is 1 mm thick.

What causes such significant thickness differences? When you buy a bat, what thickness does it usually come in?

My Ultra ll Black senior softball bat's grip was recently replaced by the 1. Lizard Skin Thickness: 1 mm It appears to be of good quality, but I wish I had bought the thicker, 1. Instead, go with 8 mm. The 1. The original grip thickness was 8 mm, so this is a good match.

How long will it last and is it waterproof? Is it possible to wrap the handle of a knife with it? How about a handle for an axe? Thanks?

Waterproof and extremely durable. It'd work well in either situation.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to attach it to the bat handle. Place the edges next to each other or make a 1-inch gap between them. Is there a 2 mm overlap?

According to the instructions on the package, overlap by 1/4"

Using a gaming mouse with an extra grip
5/5

To add some grip, I drew a desired shape and wrapped it around my mouse. It's a great product that's easy to replace when it wears out from use.

It has the potential to be far superior
3/5

I've tried a few different pickleball grip overwraps, and this one is about the same as the rest. It lasts about a week before the grime builds up and affects the grip. I need to go over everything again. Every few days, or after about ten days, I wrap my paddle. 12 games. I went to Walmart and bought the cheapest overgrip I could find, and it lasted much longer and was much stickier than lizard grip. After getting tired of wrapping my paddle every few days, I switched to using spider grip liquid before matches because it works better and is much less expensive.

Grip is fantastic
5/5

I recently replaced the grips on two of my children's Easton softball bats, buying an OEM Easton grip for one and this Lizard Skin for the other. The Lizard Skin appears to be a high-quality grip that includes clear instructions and a top-of-the-grip finishing strip. The Lizard Skin material has a better feel to it. In terms of instructions and a finishing strip, the Easton grip was adequate.

My computer mouse is what this is for
5/5

Lizard Grips were recommended to me for this purpose because I get really sweaty/greasy hands and the computer mouse slips out of my grip after about 30 minutes of computer use. I cut some pieces to cover the left and right sides of the mouse where my thumb and pinky/ring finger come into contact. It was simple to implement and made a significant difference in my life. br>br> I wish I had done this a long time ago; it feels like my mouse has just been upgraded by a factor of ten. Just in case, I bought a sandpaper Talon grip. I'm glad I won't have to use the Talon Grip in case the lizard grip isn't enough for me. Every 30 minutes of use, I had to wipe down my mouse and run to the sink to wash my hands with dish soap. This is something I no longer have to deal with. br>br>Sorry, I don't play baseball, so I can't comment on these for the purposes intended.

This grip is one of my favorites
5/5

Lizard skin has done it yet again! This grip is one of my favorites. I put it on my black mike freak and it looks fantastic. Every time I look at the bat, I get very excited. It certainly appears to be attractive. When you swing, the grip is fantastic. It's not overly thick, so it's comfortable to hold. I watched a YouTube video on how to install the lizard skin and found it to be extremely simple. I really like this grip and will continue to buy it for each of my bats. br>I understand the value of a positive review to a potential purchaser. I give honest and heartfelt reviews on products that I buy and receive; I make the majority of my purchases based on reviews, so I believe it is only right to be completely honest in reviews. As a result, I hope that this review will assist a buyer in making a decision about whether or not to purchase this product.

Although they are attractive, they are not practical
3/5

This is not the only model. Overall, lizard skins look great on your bat, but be prepared to make your regular purchases and pay the price to flaunt your swagger; they don't last long if you use batting gloves. calculating a rough figure: I work 150-200 hours per week on average. The lizard skin barely survives 200 swings over the course of a short season. Last year, I wrapped the bat three times, so I figured I'd spend a little more on good batting gloves and athletic tape to wrap the bat this year!.

The very best money can buy
5/5

Since Spring of 2014, I've been using Lizard Skins wrap. I use a . I like to grip the bat as close to the actual handle as possible, so I went with a 5mm grip. This is an excellent item. It is extremely durable and can withstand a great deal of wear and tear. Great product with excellent design, excellent functionality, and a dingy appearance. Two wraps were purchased. One for my older Miken and another for my newly acquired 2017 Louisville Slugger Z4 (that has yet to be swing). I had Lizard Skins on the Miken and was simply looking for a different wrap color. After almost three years, the tape was still great.

The grip is exceptional
5/5

It has a thin grip so you can really feel the handle, a tacky grip, and it's simple to put together. The price is slightly higher than the competition. The last one I used on a bat lasted for one ten-game season before tearing. It could have had a longer life, but I decided to change it anyway.
