1st of April 2020 I just got these to replace my Gel Excite 2s, which are starting to show their age. Those are a size 8 and still fit perfectly, so I ordered another pair in that size. When compared to my old shoes, the Gel Excite 6s feel tighter and appear to be shorter, so I'll be returning them and trying a size 8.
Everything about these shoes is perfect, from the toe box to the heel.
I bought a 7 wide and couldn't find the (D) or (wide) anywhere at first. However, upon closer inspection, they do say wide beneath the product number, but above the size on the right side.
The highlights on the shoe are a bright pink color (easy to spot when looking at the shoe in person).

I have a super high arch, thanks to ballet, so finding shoes that fit me is a little more difficult than for most people. The arch doesn't support my foot personally, but it doesn't cause any fatigue after 14/15 hours on my feet. I've been wearing them for about a month and I love how comfortable they are to walk in. They're also incredibly quiet when you walk, which is fantastic because I work the night shift!.
I run 5 miles three times a week. 5 days a week is the maximum number of days that can be worked in a week I needed new running shoes but didn't want to break the bank. My Skechers style had been updated/discontinued, and I had heard that the ASICS brand was highly regarded. I've never tried before, and I'm not sure I want to. I'm not a marathon runner, but I've never had a foot hurt so badly after running in a shoe like this. My feet were killing me because I didn't have any arch support. Running in pain is not how it should feel; the soles feel as if they have no shock absorption, so it's like running on concrete with no relief. The fit and size were as expected, but the shoes were tossed in a box after attempting to break them in over several runs and still experiencing pain afterward. I tried using memory foam insoles, but they only made things worse. I really wanted to like these shoes, but I went with my gut and they didn't live up to my expectations. I think they'd be nice as fashion/walking shoes, but they're not built for serious exercise.
I've been buying ACS for a long time and adore each style and pair! I have problems with my feet (flat feet, arthritis, etc. ) and these solve the problem! The item is offered at a very reasonable price.
These shoes have a fantastic appearance. I'm a runner, so I won't be buying these again, but I'll continue to wear Asics, which I've done for years. They're not the best Asics, as they're a stiff shoe with less cushion than the ones I usually buy. So far, I've logged 20 miles on them, and my feet are stiff and achy.
Since I began long-distance running 22 years ago, it has been the only sports shoe I've worn. I've never had to break in a pair of shoes before, and this pair was no exception. It's a walking shoe with a softer sole tread. When I'm walking (I don't run anymore), I get a lot of help. Maintains the stability and balance of my foot. The only issue I have is that it is either shorter or has a narrower toe box. I don't think the next size up would be too big, so returning them isn't a big deal. This shoe and model will remain in my collection. It's a heavy-duty machine.
In every way, this athletic shoe lived up to my expectations: I ordered a 9 1/2, which is my normal size, and they fit perfectly, with plenty of room between the toe and the end of the shoe. I ordered this style because the 3000 style provided too much arch support; this shoe provides more than moderate arch support without making my arch sore at the end of an active day. I spent an 8-hour day in these puppies with little or no time off my feet, and they performed admirably. My feet were well-supported, cushioned, and at ease. With the colored flares over the white background, they also look very sharp. They're also very easy to clean! I'm so glad!.
I've been running for a long time and have experienced the Nimbus transitions of being smaller than normal and having a narrow toe box. I decided to give these a try as a change of pace while walking on the sidewalk and at the beach. They are extremely comfortable and good value for money. They have the same feel as slippers and cost a third of the price of Nimbus sneakers.
To keep it from moving, I had to lace them up tight. This is a problem I've never had with my previous shoes. br>I run a minimum of 4 miles per day and by midday, my heel is rubbing to the point where it feels like a blister is about to form - However, this never occurs. I'd rather not deal with it for the rest of the day. br>I'm returning for these reasons alone. Otherwise, it is true to size (I am a size 7) and is comfortable. 5 and it fits perfectly), and it has comfortable cushioning for the most part; it also appears to vent well, as my previous pair of Under Armours made my feet feel like they had heaters in them, which I haven't experienced with these.
