There are 21 pads in the large dressage pad.

In what sense does the drop matter?

You're asking because you don't know what the drop is it's basically the measurement from the spine of the saddle pad to the bottom of the pad on either side. This one is usually around 19 1/2 inches. It would be a good idea to double check.

The saddle pad has a good fit over the withers and it is very well constructed. Several options exist for placement of the saddle billets and reinforcement is provided where those billets will go. In my monoflap saddle, I prefer the short front straps that attach to the dees, because they are black, which effectively blends into the saddle instead of the usual white straps. The placement is perfect, and the length is just right as well. Millbrook provided fast shipping as well as a $10 gift certificate toward my next purchase, a nice touch!.

It turned out to be a good buy

In the end I bought this pad because I liked it's colour and wanted to match it with a dressage pad. Grass mat for jumping. I like it very much on the chestnut roan saddle I am riding and it fits properly on the 17" dressage saddle Having a 15 means he's in the 10th grade. It is a 3hh draft cross that fits him The colors really stand out against the I am concerned but not seriously concerned that it will be difficult to clean, as I don't want to lose the color but I want to get the hair off of the top as well.

It's a great pad for dressage

Beautiful pad. I like it a lot. The bamboo material has worked great for my stallion, he sweats a lot and is not saturated like other fabrics. I'm buying more!.

A nice feature and a nice feature

saddle pad fits nicely and the two velcro loops that hook onto the D rings of the saddle are great. Furthermore, I appreciate the reinforced girthing near the top of the pad as that's where I see most pads wear out first. The saddle pad doesn't have many other features besides those mentioned above.
